Tendinitis & Rituxan

Hi Everybody!

I have some concerns. I just finished my Rituxan infusions this month. I developed tendinitis in my foot between the first and second infusion and it was brutal pain. All of my muscles feel like the ankle tendinitis did when it first started. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it an RA problem or an infusion problem? I have herd that RA can attack your entire body/system. My joints feel some better. They are not as swollen or hurt but this muscle and tendon thing is bad. I don’t want to quit the Rituxan if it’s working for my joints. Any insight is appreciated.

I haven't had that reaction to Rituxan...but I think sometimes it's a Trade Off. Speak to your Rheumatologists...... sometimes it's the lesser of the evils that you go along with!

I haven’t had that reaction either . Definitely mention it to your rheumatologist or phone the rheumy Nurse as they might be able to organise a steroid injection if that would help? Best wishes 🌸

I am on Benepali as my inflammation is really in my right foot! I empathise as these past few days pain has taken hold 😬 just trying to do some tlc - hoping for things to calm. Hope you feel better soon too.
