Heptologist comment on brain fog
This is why I have brain fog. I guess it can vary from one patient to the next. But, it isn't from inflammation of the brain in my case. He placed me on Xifaxan to help break down the ammonia & other toxin. Due to the expense of this medication my insurance does not want to pay for it. Now I am being

What were your initial symptoms?
In May this year I had sinus surgery to remove polyps and open up my turbinates as I appear to have allergic
rhinitis
which was fuelling the asthma. I was kept in for three nights because my sats were below 90.My IgE is just over 500. In school I was the kid with the snotty nose.

Asthma and sinus surgery
It is early days but if you have sinus issues and are strugging with asthma they two may well be linked - I think I have a nasty case of allergic
rhinitis

Advice on doing 24 hour Cortisol Saliva test 6
I am struggling with hay fever so I take Cetrizine HCL 10mg x ~3 and Fexofenadine 180mg x1 and
Rhinitis
is so bad that I would like to take some Beconase, but I think it would interfere with the test - how many days of no Beconase before I could do the Cortisol test accurately?

Rhinitis and Rosecea with hypothyroidism
Hi I was just wondering if anyone else has either
rhinitis
or rosecea. I have recently developed both and I read that hormone imbalance like with hypothyroidism might cause
rhinitis
. Anyone? Thanks

Constant blocked/runny nose, trouble swallowing, plugged ears
I am guessing that it is Alergic
Rhinitis
that I have. Would it be worth seeing GP and asking for an allergy test? Just hoping there is someone out there with similar problems. It's getting to a point now where it's becoming a problem with my sleep. Sorry for the long post. Thanks.

First post here! Looking for a bit of advice
The respiratory specialist referred me to an allergist who has been trying to treat allergic
rhinitis
with antihistamines and nasal corticosteroids. It turns out I can't really take either of these.

When to worry about a cold
I have cough variant asthma and
rhinitis
so it's not always easy to tell. It's been a while since I had one... My asthma had been good to the point of not needing a preventer until about 6 weeks ago. Then I started needing bricanyl more and more often, so I went back onto symbicort SMART.

Anyone on Flutiform?
My allergic
rhinitis
got out of control without a nasal spray and the cough came back worse than ever. I ended up at nurse, with a sinus infection diagnosed. I told her I think this Beclomethasone nasal spray does not agree with me and is causing the cough.

Possible nasal vasculitis?
I saw the doctor who diagnosed
rhinitis
/sinusitis and prescribed nasal spray which seemed to make the pain worse. He also gave me 7 days prednisalone which I think had some effect on the pain. An X-ray showed a slight deviated septum but he's sure this wouldn't cause my problems.

Resveratrol
I'm curious what people make of resveratrol and whether anyone has any experience of it. I am concerned by the mention of its possible estrogenic effect. That phrase usually has me running in the opposite direction, but I am curious about its antiinflammatory properties. I would much prefer to

Salamol CFC inhaler?
Hi! My name is Nikolay and this is my first post. I have suffered asthma pretty badly since birth, especially more into my adult life.
