interested in the side effects of those taking daralutamide and especially those taking daralutamide together with relugolix

He is on relugolix , enzalutamide and have added 2000 mg metformin since a month. Anyone here experiences similar ?

Has anyone used or have knowledge about Relugolix? 🤔

On one side it seems that relugolix would decrease the risk of cardiovascular events (as all GnRH antagonists). I say it seems because it's not confirmed. Plus of course I can take it without having to have an injection.

I have been looking at using relugolix + low dose estrogen patch to maximise T suppression when still hormone sensitive as had previous excellent and fast response to LHRH antagonist, and the patch to mitigate the side effects (fatigue, mood, bone loss,CV risks) As we in UK NHS are finally permitted

Relugolix is now mandated by NICE in the UK for locally advanced hormone sensitive PC, as of 14th August 2024. So the NHS must ensure that it is being offered as an option.

He has started to take the Relugolix on empty stomach to see if that helps as I read it is absorbed better on an empty stomach. Has anyone had this happen when they added Xtandi

They have just started me on relugolix ADT. My PSA is now very low after just emerging from undetectable, I am sure it has acquired a more aggressive nature and can therefore progress rapidly from here, so in my view, the current low PSA is temporary.

One MO says to stop the bicalutamide since starting relugolix and the other MO says to continue bicalutamide along with relugolix Any thoughts
