Dad was saying since some days he feels a sweetish kind of taste in mouth. I have read some people can have a change of taste as a side effect of enzalutamide.
He is on relugolix , enzalutamide and have added 2000 mg metformin since a month.
Anyone here experiences similar ?

I am on relugolix and enzalutamide and my taste is not impacted. Neither was it impacted when I was on Lupron and Zytiga.
Has your dad recently begun something like a keto diet or fasting? That can make someone perceive sweetness more profoundly. For example, to me milk or bread taste quite sweet because I do keto and fasting.
No keto or fasting. But I googled it and came across some other posts of similar experience on xtandi. His taste is not impacted but just that he says he sometimes has sweetish taste in mouth
yea I thought I did, but looking back I think it was the Zometa pain train I was receiving at the same time. Buds working great now, too great prolly rotflol.
Entered my 7th year “ no man’s land “ on Xtandi this October the 20th
I'm on Orgovyx ( regugolix ) 120 mg and Erleada (apalutamide ) 240 mg. I take the Orgovyx in the evenings and from the first day I started on it I had a metal taste in my mouth. At first it only lasted an hour or 2 but now after 6 months it is worse and all the time. I doubt there is a direct connection but as my PSA lowered the taste got worse. I have found nothing that helped.
