Heart attack (Stemi) and unable to stent because of ectatic Coronary artery
Current idea is to take midodrine 2.5mg to try to increase BP, and
Ranolazine
to help angina In my case nobody seems keen to think about any further intervention angioplasty or CABG because the RCA is of marginal benefit. It would also be very technically difficult.

Just read an article that suggests that this drug can really help ectopics. Has anyone any experience of this please?

Fed up with meds
I take
Ranolazine
, amoldopine nicorandil clopideral . I do have other medications for one thing or another. I have painful joints swollen legs and feet, weight gain, headaches nausea and extreme chronic fatigue. The nausea is awful so I was given anti sickness tablets.

Blocked Artery
I now take various medications including very powerful statins, clopidogrel , bisoprolol, and
ranolazine
.. The result is tiredness, and inability to walk gradients and stairs without gasping for air, although on the flat I am not too bad at all.

Post hospital visit
I am now on isorsobide,
Ranolazine
and bisoprolol as well as my normal ramipril, aspirin and statins. My confusion is with the way forward. Angina and the way it came on me in a short measured space of time says to me that there has been more narrowing of the arteries.

Hi, I just had a telephone consultation with my cardiologist. I have now been prescribed ranolozine. Is anyone else taking this medication ? I was unsure if it was in addition to calcium channel blockers or in addition to.

Stopping lansoprazole or PPI's
Ramipril ,
ranolazine
apixaban diltiazem. Tramadol . As we know PPI's they stop production of stomach acid but also stops up take of vital nutrients mag cal etc. So we looked up a herbal alternatives and found Slippery Elm. So 1 week in to it I have had very minimal reflux.

Just watched a Sanjay Gupta video from 2018 where he talks about a possible new treatment for ectopics/arrhythmia using a drug called
ranolazine
which is currently used for treating angina. https://www.youtube.com/watch?

Stent pain
He has added today nicorandril and
ranolazine
Cardiac consultant was quite dismissive of my pain but has referred me for a urgent angiogram Iām getting mixed messages. Either Iām having chest pain in response to worrying cardiac symptoms or Iām a fusspot who keeps going back to A&E.
