Microvascular Disease / Syndrome X
The last consultant I saw again said heart tests looked normal, but as a kind of last ditch remark at the end of the letter suggested that my GP might wish to try me on nitrates, Amlodipine or
Ranolazine
. Said it is possible I have a degree of microvascular dysfunction or Syndrome X.

Does anybody here take Isosorbide Mononitrate 60 mg twice a day ?
According to medicine website Isosorbide Mononitrate last 17 hours and
Ranolazine
only lasts 7 hours, so there is supposed to be a gap of the body being drug free, which for me is not helpful, as I've got CHD. Anybody with similar experience.

How do people balance exercise and rest?
I have started medications, Bisoprolol, Eplerenone, Atorvastatin, Ramipril,
Ranolazine
and Aspirin. I am due an Angiogram on 8th March. As I am still waiting for my Angiogram things haven't really been explained to me yet as I am presuming we are waiting for the results of this?

Stenting or CABG
My GP has put me on Asprin 75 mg,
Ranolazine
375 mg twice a day. I am not sure what will be the treatment offered to me and getting bit nervous about going for a CABG. I am 51 and generally healthy.

Angina?
Should I push for a proper diagnosis or just take
ranolazine
. Which the cardiologist suggested . Because My BP is lowish normal antianginals aren't suitable because they lower my BP too much. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated

Medication after HA & CABGx4
On top of the statins and asperine as a result of the CABG, I am now also on isosorbide-5-mononitrate and
ranolazine
, but not on clopidogrel or other blood thinners. My doctor at last appointment questioned this, but I am still waiting for an answer. Has anyone else had experience with this?

Medication reactions Diltiazem, statins, Bisoprolol and now something else?
Anyone else experienced this with maybe amlodopine or
ranolazine
- my latest additions but in April. Sorry for long post. Just fed up of setbacks every time I think I’m getting things under control. I’ve also gained over a stone in weight despite doing more exercise than I ever did!

Ranolazine, amlodipine and lansoprazo now suggested to take Isosobine mononitrate as well. GTN spray has little effect. Advice, please.
Will this not replicate the work of the
Ranolazine
? Heard some very mixed reviews about taking the IM so I am a little worried.
