Ranolazine

I have heart disease suffer from occasional angina (whenever I exert myself eg walk up a slope) and my heart consultant has prescribed Ranolazine (alongside my other meds eg Edoxaban , Tildiem and Candesarten).

I take all the usual meds including Verapamil, Isosorbide Mononitate, Nicorandil, Ranolazine and Esomeprazole . I have suddenly got a very dry mouth and get very tired. Has this happened to anyone else? Would be very grateful for your comments. Thank you. 😀

Anyone else on this? How have you found it?

I had no issues weaning off the Ranolazine. After 2 weeks I was completely off it and was advised to wean off the Isosorbide Mononitrate. A further 2 weeks later I weaned off the Isosorbide Mononitrate but have been feeling odd since.

Following a heart attack and a stent (and I also have AF) I am now on ranolazine, metoprolol, rampril and a nitrate (as well as antiplatelet and anticoagulant).

I am on 60mg isorbide once a day 500mg Ranolazine twice a day, Statins,Clopidogrel,bisoprol and Losartin.The Angio showed two partial blocks on 45% and one 75 to 95% but normal flow apparently also 100%stenosis LAD that i assume the Bypass is dealing with.

This is what I am on: clopidogrel, edoxaban, metoprolol, lansoprazole, ranolazine, pravastatin, ezetimibe, ramipril - quite a cocktail! - as well as treatments for osteoporosis. Are others on so many? Were you able to stop these after a while?

I am on metoprolol and ranolazine (and edoxaban) - a combination that has reduced the bouts to a few times a week, but is wiping me out - out of breath, weak, tired. Not really surprising as BP very low and pulse often in the 40s. Going for even a short walk brings it all on.

The other option (if Flec doesn't do the full trick for me) is that Ranolazine is now being used for ventricular ectopics. I have seen several studies showing good outcomes, so very glad to hear it's now in use and available to me if needed. Hope this is of use to someone.

I am anti-coagulated and also on statin and ranolazine. As this is all new to me I have no way to gauge the seriousness of it. I don't want to waste people's time, but I would also quite like to wake up in the morning! Anyone been in a similar boat and might be able to advise or support?

I am now taking ranolazine which initially made an amazing difference eliminating most of the pain and breathlessness and I felt incredibly well for a couple of months.

I have the option of adding Nicorandil and they have asked me to consider trying Ranolazine again. I will be seeking a referral to a specialist if I don't get this sorted out.

I am taking Tildiem and Ranolazine, one side effect of both tablets is constipation which is another problem I could do without. Is anyone else on these two medications and how are you getting on with them. I am wondering if there is another combination that would work better for me.

I’m thinking I might be on too many and I am going to have a chat to my GP next week as Cardiology have discharged me I currently take nicirandil 20mgx2 Ramipril 5mg x2 Ranolazine 750mg x2 Isosorbide 60mg x2 Amlodipine 10mg Bisoprolol 10mg Avorstatin 80mg Aspirin 75mg Prasugrel 10mg Spironolactone

My cardiologist has just switched me off Bisaprolol 5 mg as they had stopped working properly to Tildiem and Ranolazine.

elderly mother and having great trouble getting to he bottom of her problems which have been going on for 3 years, she was found to have a blocked artery 20 years ago but carried on with her meds ok, she has naturally low blood pressure but has been taking Elantan ( Isosorbide Mononitrate 25mg ) and Ranolazine

My local chemist told me today that they're struggling to get hold of Ranolazine. He didn't say why. Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone know why there might be an issue?

Difference this time I’m on cpap and ranolazine so maybe that’s why it lasted slightly longer also weight loss healthy eating exercise etc. Feel so annoyed with myself I just went for a slow 20 min walk nothing strenuous came back and it had reverted back to AF.
