Month 5 of ORGOVYX
After radical prostatectomy and radiation treatment, I’m now on ORGOVYX and my testosterone has decreased from 672 to 11. I’ll be coming off the medication in one month. If anyone has used ORGOVYX, do you stop cold turkey or is there a tapering off of the drug? Thank you.

Did you use Orgovyx with radiation, and did your Medicare Part D or Advantage plan cover it ?
I'm hoping to learn what roadblocks anyone encountered in asking to use Orgovyx instead of Lupron, etc as part of radiation treatment. Resistance from prescribing ROs? Problems with Part D drug coverage ? Advantage plans...Kaiser , etc............that would and wouldn't cover at least some of the $2700

Skull met has spread
My appointment with my oncologist yesterday made me aware after reviewing the MRI from last week, that the met that was on my skull is now spread into soft matter in my head. I was set to start a double Chemo treatment yesterday , but it was decided the treatment would do no good, and that quality

hi all, I am so happy to report that my dad has really improved following terrible side effects with his radiation treatment. I have posted before -he was having awful GI side effects which seemed to get worse following radiation completion. But this is all subsided which we are grateful for. dad

Dad just diagnosed, looking for advice
He's been given a lot of information to read and he will be meeting with his care team again soon to decide on a treatment plan - the treatment options being considered are active surveillance,
radiotherapy
/hormones, focal therapy, and robotic radical prostatectomy.

PSA rising after salvage treatment
Hi, It's been a while since I was on this forum, but I am in need of some advice. I had a radical prostatectomy in 2021 followed by salvage radio therapy. My psa levels have been rising slowly since then and I wondered if there was any advice as to what it might mean and if there is anything I should

Radiation for cancer other than thyroid.
Does radiation treatment for breast cancer affect thyroid medications? Does dose need to be adjusted during or after treatment?

question about chemo for recurring tumour
He has had an enlarged biopsy, a removal of tumour,
radiotherapy
x 2, months of TMZ and avastin. We’ve had 6 months of stable scans and no chemo which has been amazing. Recent scan showed regrowth and the oncologist is recommending lomustine and avastin.

HDR boost Brachytherapy + IMRT
Hi all, This is my first post since being diagnosed with g9 metastatic PC. PSMA PET showed several pelvic lymph nodes with Mets, but no other spread, and bones are clean. I’m trying to finalize my choice of radiation treatments. I’m currently on Lupron and Zytiga, and PSA is dropping like a rock

Bilateral frontal calvarial metastases
Has anyone in the forum experienced bilateral frontal calvarial metastases associated with their PCa? I recently had a brain MRI where this metastases was identified. The assessing physicians impression was that there is no worrisome parenchymal or leptomeningeal enhancement and did not recommend any

after iADT and recurrence: SATURN trial
Upshot. Intense short term ADT and radiation therapy for "oligorecurrence" after iADT https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0302283824000587 The reason you have to like it is that it should not require new drug development and trials etc. I wonder if it would be applicable to oligorecurrence

Scientific fact-check, please?
I’m working on page 44 of my cancer comic, and I’m trying to explain how radiation therapy works, in very generalized terms. Obviously I’m simplifying and stylizing some of the cellular level stuff, but can the more scientific of y’all check the overall factual nature of the page? I’m going to ask the

PSA Bounce After Radiation Therapy
I am trying to understand PSA bounce or change in PSA levels after RT and have found two studies useful. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7465291/ https://www.nature.com/articles/s41391-021-00387-4 Some analysts distinguish between PSA bounce and biological recurrence, and see a possibility

Whatever little information I have read seem to indicate that
radiotherapy
is more likely to cause anal/rectal issues. Hence I am feeling very confused. Of course I like the idea of not having surgery( and resultant scars.. I am Asian and tend to scar badly).

Rare Case of Recurrent Cutaneous CLL in the Extremity: Long-Term Follow-Up and Literature Review, Written with the Assistance of ChatGPT
The original case study was from 2001, so treatment was well before the availability targeted CLL therapies and
radiotherapy
contributed to curing the blisters. The case study is also an example of how ChatGPT can be used to make such reports more understandable.

post radiation. Currently on ADT. PSA slight increase ?
Hey all, My father who started at 226PSA has finished radiation treatment about a year ago.: and remains on ADT. his PSA was sitting 0.03 but has jumped to 0.08. Is this any cause for concern? I took it as a positive as it sounds extremely low but now second guessing ..
