Feeling frustrated
I appreciate because it’s really uncommon to be on 200 mg fostair 2 puffs twice a day & 100mg
qvar
4 puffs twice a day. I’m aware how high it is, the consultant is trying to get things settled whilst planning what to next re injections and whether I qualify.

any suggestions?
Currently taking Seretide 250 (tried Fostair and Symbricourt without success) then had
Qvar
added on as an extra steroid inhaler, as well as Montelukast, and also tend to take a 5-6 courses of steroids every summer and a course or two in autumn.

Preventative medication
He has tried Advair HFA, Flovent, and
Qvar
. He is currently on Advair diskus. Can anyone help make a suggestion that I could present to his Pulminary Dr. He is very active but is becoming depressed over the fact that his asthma keeps making him miss out on things.

Vertigo with inhalers
I tried
qvar
and then symbicort. Both made me extremely dizzy with vertigo that was not tolerable. Something in these inhalers is triggering a response. Im now only using nebulized albuterol after exp the same with ventolin. Has anyone else heard of or experienced this?? My lung doctor is clueless.

New inhaler
I have recently started
Qvar
and Wondered if anyone else is on it and suffer any side effects? Two mornings now I have woken up & noticed my right hand is swollen and today the right side of my face too. It goes down after moving around a little bit I wondered if it is due to the new inhaler.

Steroids through a nebuliser
Hey, At my last consultants apt a couple of weeks ago I was given steroids to have through my nebuliser twice a day (in addition to fostair,
qvar
and oral steroids) he said whilst I was there I may as well have the salbutamol and ipatropium at those times as well (instead of using them as needed).

Need some advice or info. re: lung congestion that I thought it was a respiratory infection.
I do have ventolin and
qvar
for my asthma but I hate taking them also unless I have to. The question I have for everyone who replies is....Did any of the medication mentioned above helped them with the same symptoms? Thinking about using Colloidal silver as oral and nebulizing it.

QVar and weight gain
Does
Qvar
make you put weight on? Recently been diagnosed with Asthma so taking inhaler but I've also changed diet to eat healthier and also started running (C25K) and on week 4. I am doing all I can but feel I'm gaining weight. Is this correct and can I raise to my doc for alternative?

Asthma again not since teenager. Now adult. Bit of support?
Prescribed
Qvar
and Ventolin Ventolin really helping but having to take it 4 times a day, waiting on steroid to really start to work. Does anyone know why I have to wait 6 weeks to see an asthma nurse? Apparently I have to go back in 6 weeks.
