Need some advice or info. re: lung congestion that I thought it was a respiratory infection.

My symptoms was coughing up lots of yellowish mucus and congested for over a week. I thought I had some type of respiratory lung infection like bronchitis or virus etc... I went to my doctor and ordered a x-ray, and he said that " I didn't have any type of infection. I didn't know that x-ray can diagnose that. He did give me antibiotics and short course of oral steroid. He told me it's because of cold weather and causing inflammation because of my asthma creating mucus production. I hate taking antibiotics and oral steroid. I do have ventolin and qvar for my asthma but I hate taking them also unless I have to.

The question I have for everyone who replies is....Did any of the medication mentioned above helped them with the same symptoms?

Thinking about using Colloidal silver as oral and nebulizing it. I heard good success with it.

Thank you for any replies,

Sagittar
