First PSMA PET Scan at Mayo Jax
I had my first PSMA (
Pylarify
F-18)Scan Mayo Jax, could someone explain two sentence to me about Impression by Dr reading scans. No tracer activity suspicious for active Prostate Cancer. However urinary bladder base was obscured by physiologic urinary activity. PSA at time of scan 0.118

Newly-discovered Micro-Mets: What would you do?
Recent (my first) PSMA
Pylarify
scan shows I've acquired 9-10 tiny lymph node metastases scattered in the common iliac, mediastinal, and left supraclavicular regions of my body. I'm still hormone-sensitive, but would prefer not to go back on ADT if possible (history of heart concerns).

Pylarify PET Results
My PET scan results were worse than i could ever imagine with multiple lesions throughout the upper skeletal system. Since then I have seen 2 different MOs who agree on Eligard and Abiraterone, however one is suggesting Chemo as the third leg of treatment while the other feels we should wait until we

Treatment Changes and Good Results
The lung nodules that had uptake in my last
Pylarify
scan had shrunk, the lymph nodes that had uptake in the scan were calcified, the spot on my rib that had uptake showed no sign of activity and there were no new metastases seen anywhere.

Recent PSMA (Pylarify) PET Scan…. Covered by Medicare.
I just wanted to report that today I had a PSMA (
Pylarify
) PET scan at Shields Imaging/Scanning in Springfield, Massachusetts. What’s notable about this is that prior to two weeks ago, Medicare did not cover this procedure. I was told that patients had to pay for it out-of-pocket.

Got PSMA SCAN Results-Now What?
In October of that year I received a PSMA PET piflufolastat F18 (
Pylarify
) scan using the latest GE PET scanning machine. I received a CD that shows areas of “uptake”.

SBRT or Lu-PSMA for Oligometastatic HSPC? How about Both?
Then I had another PSMA PET scan this month (
Pylarify
) which showed progression: two new 1 cm lymph nodes, one in the right pelvis and one in the abdomen at celiac plexus. So now I am "officially" metastatic, yet still HS.

Primary SBRT / Stage 4
The question is if I still have a prostate giving off PSA could that prostate still be giving off micro-mets that dont show up on a
Pylarify
tracer ? And during the IMRT should the prostate area be radiated ?

Rising PSA - Scan or Biopsy
A local clinic is offering the
Pylarify
scan. However, I have not been referred to them by my HMO. I understand that the cost of a scan would probably not be covered by my HMO. Are there problems associated with either the biopsy or the scan. I am looking for recommendations on how to proceed.

PSMA(Pylarify) Shut Out in Rocky Mountain West
I have been following the roll out of the PSMA scans for over a year. Denver has none. The nearest sites are Omaha and Albuquerque both 500 miles away. Hard to understand when this is a major referral center for a 4 state area. Contacting the company has been no help as their map shows a future site

Since the
Pylarify
scan did not show anything but the 1 hot node it dont mean there is no other cancer there . I visit Dr. Szumivits , ( MO ) Jan.7 at the Univ. of Chicago . With these pain is that a game changer as far as treatment , or can it be the Eligard ? Thanks
