Mixed results after two more Lu177 treatments
On Monday I had a
Pylarify
PSMA scan after two Lu177 treatments in Munich. The results are mixed. The lymph node metastases are now much smaller but the C1 metastasis is bigger and there are now other new bone metastases. Super disappointing.

Pylarify sites in California
Pylarify
, the other FDA-approved PSMA PET indicator, is available more widely. However, I can't vouch that radiologists are as good at reading the PET scans. If you want to find a
Pylarify
site near you, call 1-800-964-0446. (They plan to have a full list on the web in January).

PSMA PET required for LU PSMA therapy?
There are two tracer drugs available for the PSMA PET scan, Ga 68 PSMA-11 and
Pylarify
(piflufolastat F 18). Ga 68 PSMA-11 was approved last December only for use at UCLA and UCSF.

Are We Out Of The Woods For A While?

Update After 3 Cabazitaxel Treatments.
My instinct is to push for the
Pylarify
scan now. I understand Medicare is approving it. I spoke to the Nurse Practitioner about that on Thursday morning. She said it was too expensive and wouldn’t get approved.

Pylarify PSMA PET scan availability in the US
Here's the current map: https://www.pylarify.com/ordering-and-reimbursement FDA-approved for high risk patients. Medicare hasn't yet agreed to cover, but I've heard some private insurance has. Get pre-authorization.

Is there any way to image NATUROPATHIC SUCCESS?
I am trying to get a quality imaging done--if I continue to use Western Medicine at all-- and hope to be able to afford
Pylarify
in Mass., at some point in the near future. My question is this: Is there any way that imaging can measure my naturopathic success?...

Pylarify PET/CT, How Much Sooner Does It Give You Intelligence on Mets?
So this new scan,
Pylarify
PET/CT, how much sooner does it give you intelligence on mets? So for example compared to existing scans do you become aware of mets a month sooner? A year sooner? 5 years sooner?

FDA approves Pylarify PET/CT
I'm curious if anyone knows more details about this new imaging agent that was just approved by the FDA. How does it compare with Gallium68? It sounds easier to manufacture but at what PSA levels is it effective? Thanks for any info!
