MRCP MRI with pancreatic protocol confirms presence of liver lesion that "favors metastatic tumor" (same as Pylarify finding). So, on to biopsy.

Only four weeks after 18F I did another scan with Pylarify and surprisingly(?) 10 metastases were found. What can be said about false positive findings? The three methods are considered equal, but obviously this is not the case. Anyone had a similar experience?

Has anyone had a Pylarify (PSMA) pet scan showing no prostate cancer spread but knew that you had some metastasis in at least one lymph node (seen in an older scan and confirmed by biopsy). I know that there are people who are PSMA negative...not sure if my husband is one.

Should I take Nubeqa continuously when going to a PSMA Pylarify PET scan or break from the Nubeqa for a few weeks beforehand?When getting a PSMA PET scan, I often here advice about temporarily pausing use of whatever drugs that are effectively keeping the PSA scores down at nadir or below .1.

My MO has ordered a PSMA PET Scan/Pylarify for next week. I guess I can forget about a cure now. I’m pretty down about it. I’ve been fighting this disease since 2013. I had feeling a lot better after a year of ADT vacation and I’m dreading going back on.

Unexpectedly had cell call while some 30ish miles down a rough rode at about 8,300' elevation in the River Of No Return Wilderness, ID. It was MO in Houston, TX. Will have second opinion (std request of mine) confirmation of lesion on my liver, at uPSA 0.033. Still awaiting result on GUARDANT360 CDx

Epstein, had Pylarify with no mets, seed implant LD brachytherapy in July 2023, EBRT 28 treatments finishing first of Oct 2023. RO said ADT not necessary due to double radiation. Highest pretreatment PSA was 4.4.

And, how much better is the new Posluma scan vs Pylarify? My husband is Gleason 9 (4+5) in all cores with SVI and ECE, but PSMA scan showed no spread. His PSA at dx was 13.

The PSMA injection to be used is PYLARIFY® | Piflufolastat F 18. I also asked if it was combined with CT or MRI and he said no. I feel like he is mistaken. This from a radiology publication: "Combined PET/CT scanners perform almost all PET scans today.

I have seen several posts that specifically mention "Pylarify" PSMA PET scan. Is the Pylarify agent a specific brand name for the F18 agent used in a PSMA PET Scan or is this a different type of PSMA PET Scan? Is there any difference in the sensitivity of the Scan?

PSMA/PET scan with Pylarify was cancelled twice due to insurance and provider glitches and rescheduled for March. This test is not even available in Yuma, Az. and apparently not that easy to schedule in Phoenix. I want to see that result before deciding on a course of action.

Oh, I had a pylarify scan Sept '23. It came back clear. I'll keep having my PSA monitored every 3 months. Any thoughts on how my PSA is rising without scans showing activity?

However, I haven't found such specifically for Pylarify.

His Pylarify PET scan on 1/3 found " Diffuse, mild and heterogeneous radiotracer uptake throughout the prostate. NO DEFINITIVE FOCAL AREA TO CORRELATE WITH KNOWN DISEASE. 2.Prominent left external iliac chain lymph node WITHOUT significant radiotracer uptake. Continue attention on follow-up.

Sivaraman ordered Pylarify PET scan, which came back clean, and the Decipher. Weirdly, his most recent PSA had dropped, from 8.97 in late August to 5.13 (the urologist said it was the inflammation going down.)
