Kardia -- again!
Nanfranz again, two months after my first Kardia post, and a few weeks after receiving the Kardia I ordered. I have paroxysmal afib, and now almost-constant ectopics. PVCs, PACs, and supra-ventricular tachycardia -- these three show up on y medical record (after monitoring) but not sure I can tell

Hubby and emphysema
Hi, I'm new on this site and as I have been worrying my self nuts, thought to write some thoughts. My hubby was diagnosed with Emphysema Stage 2 (his FEV1 is 63.25%) and also hearth wall thickness last month. As I have read, both of them are incurable and just a matter of time how the diseases progress

So far so good. Yesterday as check up day for my icd. I have full blown AFib all the time now. Resting rate of 120. My curiosity always gets me when I go in for check up. So, I asked what the highest my fib has gotten. 300 beats a minute. That's not too bad for me these days since I no longer get shocked

PIP FOR COPD
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help or has experience of applying for PIP. I have had an assessment and got 6 points, none of which were for COPD, but a comparatively minor element (Supra.. Tendonitis). I have read the assessment report, which showed the assessor had no understanding of

Anxiety and pvcs
Going on almost 3 weeks with Pvcs ( skipped heart beat) wish they would stop. I have an echo tomorrow. Most likely due to stress ( my dad passed away and the skipped beats started a few hours later) I have had health anxieties for about 7 years. Now that I'm so focused on the irregular heart beat, I

Pvcs and sex
I recently noticed I have pvcs for the last few weeks. I'm currently waiting to do an echo ,next week ,and had a holter on for 24 hours. Haven't heard back from dr yet. I did have blood work come back as all good. er dr say the pvcs look benign. My dad recently died so probably due to that. My question

Heart health anxiety.
Geez here I go again fearing a heart attack. I literally just had a 2 week heart monitor on (results: harmless pvc's which I was offered beta blockers but was told didn't have to take them unless I wanted to not deal with palpitations.) And I had blood work done with the results being, I'm healthy and

Very severe COPD with atypical symptons
I've never posted before, just commented. I'm posting now because I'm not sure if I'm unusual! I have very severe COPD, charmingly named "end stage", FEV1 21% and been at that sort of level for several years. I have "bad days" but I don't think I have real exacerbations - I'll cough and huff more but

I have a hospital letter report from my consultant but there are terms which Im not fully sure what they mean even though I have tried looking on Google. Along with all my health problems it says "Performance Status 1" and FEV1 1.51 (53% predicted)....She told me that my lung capacity is only about

Multiple SVTs in a 24 hour period?
It caught a few short SVTs and a few PAC,
PVC
. My last EKG, stress test and Echo were about a year ago. I don't drink caffeine, or do drugs, and I drink socially. Never had alcohol trigger when drinking it, but it is a trigger for my anxiety and skips the next day if I had a bit too much.

Able to exercise, but readings so low, Don't understand.
Wow, during my wifit plus exercising this morning I managed to complete 1 hours exercise which included 24 minutes of running ( 8 x 3 minutes ) whilst holding a conversation with my wife, my peak heart rate was 141 bpm, I didn't feel breathless at all and felt l could have carried on if my legs held
