From your figures your COPD seems very mild and should not be causing you any problems at all unless you have some infection. If you are experiencing pain then the only person who can help is your doctor and I can only suggest that you go back and explain just how you are feeling. Good luck.
Welcome to this friendly site. Hope your GP will be able to help you get over this problem.
Get to another dr and don't mess around--I have emphysema--Stats worse than yours and I don't have pain like that--you have something going on--maybe not serious but discomfort is something you shouldn't be living with all the time--what on earth is up with your dr? Good Luck--Mmet
Hello Ruskin 2000, I can well understand your concerns and it's easy to say don't worry because we all do. It's a shame your not getting more support. I have very severe copd with emphaseama and know how scary it makes me feel especially when I'm gasping for breath. I suggest you speak to someone with the knowledge of your illness, clearly your doctor is far from supportive. Sorry for your stress, take care ✋️😊
Ruskin2000,
Would suggest an email to the support wing of BLF who will understand the readings that you have shown. In the UK if you feel you have an infection you would have "standby" antibiotics and steroids, but always you would consult your G.P

I’m sure in Spain you could just speak to a pharmacist and tell them your problem and if they think it’s a chest infection they will give you antibiotics. When I went to Spain a few years ago for 3 months I got a bladder infection and i was told just to go to the chemist for the antibiotics, which I did, I didn’t need to see a doctor. But maybe it has changed since I last went. But it is always good to go see your doctor if you are worried. And don’t take no for an answer, they do seem especially laid back in Spain. Good luck 😉
Try to find somewhere that provides pulmonary re hab. This is great for strengthening the lungs and then look into transplant. I had transplant 3 years ago when I was wheelchair bound with emphysema
It was the best thing that ever happened to me and I know live a full and active life. Keeping strong is the first most important thing you can do. Good luck. Susie q
