Hi Deb

I don’t know your illness or your age...what did your lung specialist say?

Your FEV1 is like mine more or less 2.13 after inhalers and steroids so it is ok said my pulmonologist. It is the most important function so they say. I have LAM.

VC is the vital capacity..I have less just checked..2.73 for forced vital capacity

The rapport between both is 76.75%. so higher..who knows..I know my problem is the residual volume, trapped air..

Here is a link with explanations better than mine 😊

The report should also say the % predicted for the FEV1 and if you could post that it would help or is the 91% predicted for the FEV1 and not the ratio?

in reply to jackdup

Yes and percentage of FEV1 would help..I was told to worry under 70%, if DCLO declined under 80% and RV was above 120%..
