max inhaler dose?
Hi everyone. I saw the hospital respiratory team about a month ago, who said that it is ok to take 5 puffs rather than the suggested max 4 puffs Fostair 200/6, as a kind of last resort before prednisolone. I’ve taken a lot of steroids this year and am trying to reduce the number of courses. However,

Re ventolin
Hi Ollie 1976I can't really help as I can't use ventolin as I get horrendous palpitations from it. I have an inhaler called symbicort, it is a dry powder inhaler & is a combined preventer and emergency treatment like ventolin. Sorry I can't help cheers Irene.

Something else to cope with
My husband went to his doctors today suffering from sinus problems. I had seen mention of some bronchiectasis sufferers having this problem. Our practice nurse eliminated other causes following two recent courses of antibiotics for a chest infection. It now transpires that 62%+ of bronchiectasis

Paroxysmal AF and Asthma
Here I am again, asking questions about PAF! I also have bronchiectasis and asthma. I hadn't had an AF episode since mid April which was great. However over the last couple of weeks I have been having frequent asthma attacks. It came to a head on Sunday/Monday when I had been up most of the night

Ablate or wait?
About 1 year ago I suffered with recurrent AF episodes usually overnight and they lasted from 1 hour to 5 hours. On two occasions I went to A&E and was kept in A&E overnight. I got a consultant appointment and he prescribed Flecainide 100mg twice per day and a spot on the NHS ablation waiting list.

LENS Neurofeedback Low Energy Neurofeedback System update.
I have had agoraphobia for the past 4 1/2 years. What has helped me may not be available in your area. It is called LENS Neurofeedback. LENS stands for Low Energy Neurofeedback System. It is different from traditional Neurofeedback in that it introduces a low current into your brain rather than just

Blocked inhaler
Ho there, Despite regular cleaning with cotton buds as per instructions, my brown inhaler is blocked and won’t clear - nothing coming out. It’s one of the ones with a dose counter, so can’t flush through with running water like my blue one. Any ideas how to avoid this? Thanks!
