Pp still relapsing 2 years on
My psychiatrist says that these relapses I keep having are all connected to my initial pp 2 years ago when my son was born so I am still recovering from pp 2 years on does it really take this long? I am bipolar too. I hate the psychotic symptoms I keep getting they make my life really hard. I'm on 5

past depression
past mental health issues when i was 16, i'm now 18 and due to have my first baby is a week or so, social services don't think i can cope due to my past history with depression and anxiety, but my life has changed since i was 16, and I've never felt more alive in my self knowing i'm going to be a mother

High risk of PPP - Meds & Bottle Feeding
I met with a Perinatal Psychiatrist yesterday who explained that the risk of me getting PPP is high, and it’s likely to be very severe if it happens. I’m currently well, and not taking any medication. To reduce the risk of PPP, he suggested I take lithium and low dose of haloperidol about two months

Does this sound like bipolar
Really very much...except for the bad desicions, the
psychosis
and the toss back down into hell. So lately I have mood swings but maybe hypomania with deep depression occuring as it is not intense .

Looking for support after relapse
The beginning of Nov I had another
psychosis
out of the blue, though I think it was stress related because now I have my own business and watch my toddler full time.

Hospitalization Anniversary
This one was a though one cause by this point I had gone very far into my
psychosis
. I truly had no idea why people even wanted me to go to the hospital. I thought they were all crazy.

Holidays bring out the worst in me and i wonder why
I feel like the psychotic villian and i don't have
psychosis
. I feel trapped. She doesn't want me to speak to her. I've taken responsibility for what I've done but in true form that is my maternal family, they don't take ANY responsibility for what they've done.

Given diagnosis of Psychosis about to administer depot Paliperidone 100mg - blood tests below
I don’t know if anyone is able to help me understand the tests below. I have been convinced for years that my Mum has Thyroid disjunction, which over the years has culminated in her become delusional to the point of not accepting any help and not realising anything is wrong with her. She won’t accept

Update: fertility & looking into adoption...
I’ve never felt any stigma around my postpartum
psychosis
before. I’ve been very lucky - and very “open” about it all. But explaining to the social worker about my illness, my subsequent bipolar disorder diagnosis, and the MBU stay, I could hear her intake of breath on the other end of the line.

Hello
from post parting depression with
psychosis
. I had 6 weeks in a psychiatric ward when my daughter was 9 months. I nearly lost my job (doctor), daughter, and have split up from my husband but am feeling very positive about the future.

Writing about post partum psychosis
Hi all. I have recently come off all my medication after nearly three years & am experiencing some flashbacks from when I was very poorly. I wondered if anyone else had experienced this & whether writing about my experience may help? Just before I had PPP I graduated from University with a degree
