Any post issues after recovering from post partum psychosis?
Hi I have recently recovered from post partum
psychosis
. I was prescribed Olanzapine for a few months and tapered down to 2.5 mg. When I tried stopping it, I was suddenly faced with anxiety issues and had to go back on Olanzapine again for a few months.

Would they Hospitalise Me?
I had postpartum
psychosis
when my previous baby was 7 months old. I had my third baby 3 weeks ago, and have had 3 hallucinations at separate occasions and the odd moments of confusion/forgetfulness.

The journey after the hospital
I am just wondering if it is has happened to others to have bad days where you are unsure what reality is, almost like slipping back into
psychosis
? I would love to have some advice as to what is helpful to keep her on the track of healing.

Midwife dumped me
I never thought I would be stigmatized by my medical professional for having had postpartum
psychosis
. I had a homebirth here in the United States for my second baby, and 5 months postpartum became very unwell with postpartum
psychosis
.

Psychosis from running out of abilify
I ended up in
psychosis
, was paranoid and fearful everyone I loved was going to die, couldnt stop screaming that something bad was going to happen, among other symptoms that were unhealthy and dangerous and terrifying. It was terrifying.

Worried about pp risk
How high is the risk that I’ll develop postpartum
psychosis
? Is there anything that can lower the risk? I’m also terrible at taking tablets, I find even tiny pills hard to swallow so I’m also feeling anxious at the thought of, if I were to become unwell, potentially making recovery worse.

Moving forward
I’ve just started taking meds to help with my MDD, GAD and
Psychosis
symptoms, hoping so much that it really helps. I’ve gone undiagnosed my whole life and am so nervous I will always feel this miserable no matter what I do. Does anyone have any positive experience with meds?

Mom of a great daughter who has PPP
Hi All. I am a mom of a 34 year old daughter who is suffering from PPP but is hopefully on the road to recovery. It has been an absolute rollercoaster for our entire family. Her second baby was born last August and since September the PPP has been building, escalating to a hospital stay late Feb early

Scared of post partum psychosis happening again
I have always suffered from anxiety and ocd. After I had the baby it got worse. I bonded well but it got too much. I ended up staying with my mum for a few weeks and leaving the baby with his dad. I basically went to jump off a bridge but bottled it. Then a little later on I had the urge to stab myself

I feel like I’m having an epiphany haha So many questions why is it so hard to find answers?!
The physical illness seem to make more sense, but
psychosis
is so in depth, almost like going to a different dimension. I wonder if there are any books on what I’m trying to get across? Why is this
psychosis
? Why does this happen during
psychosis
?

Does anyone go into a hallucination almost dream state, but mostly hallucination state at night years after illness?
It’s not uncommon I still hallucinate a bit at night, even on meds, I had hallucinosis for years as a teenager and before I got hit with
psychosis
. But the night time hallucinations are nothing like being sick though.

NeuroCovid and psych issues
I am sharing this because a few people mentioned covid
psychosis
. I hope you feel validated by this article. We are all familiar with brain fog from MS but this is bigger. Best wishes for a return to health to all who have had covid.

How do you cope with work and anxiety during recovery?
I live in N.Ireland where a mother and baby unit is not available, so I was separated from my daughter less than a week after her birth to get the
psychosis
under control. I have now returned to work on a part-time basis. I work remotely from home as a web developer.

Olanzapine and pregnancy
Hi ladies, I hope you are all keeping well! It looks like I will be staying on Olanzapine (5mg) for my next pregnancy. Has anyone else remained on it during pregnancy? Did you have any issues? Thanks so much

Anyone read Healing ADD by Dr. Daniel Amen?
That and ring of fire ADHD, which looking back may be why I was misdiagnosed with bipolar 1, what with the moodiness in ring of fire and the almost
psychosis
type stuff in temporal lobe. Anyone here read this book or heard of this view on ADHD? Do you resonate with any of the types?
