Help, bad Decipher results, this changes everything, please advise (NE WI area but will travel)
Weirdly, his most recent
PSA
had dropped, from 8.97 in late August to 5.13 (the urologist said it was the inflammation going down.)

Eligard for me= poison
When getting Eligard shots after prostatectomy and radiation it was holding
PSA
level down. It also turned my thoughts angry and disgruntled. Doctor Larock from Mattapoisett is treating me with Flutamide and Bicalutimide 1 pill day each. Thanks Jesus I can write this and feel pretty good for 75.

Still true that using same scan type is preferable to changing scan type?
While looking for something else, I came across the following advice in my notes--best to stick with same scan type just as it's best to stick with same lab for testing
PSA
. Tall Allen gave the following advice in October, 2022. With most guys now getting PSMA scans, does this advice still hold?

Confused by Decipher Test
My
PSA
went up to 4.4 and then had an MRI which showed a two suspicious lesions (PI-RADS 4 and a PI-RAD 3). Had a biopsy 3 weeks ago and it showed cancer in the prostate. The PI-RAD 3 lesion turned out to be benign. My GS was 3+3, Grade Group 1.

SBRT vs EBRT
Since my
PSA
went from 5.5 to 8 in 10 months, my RO felt EBRT + ADT + 1x seeds would be a better option anyway. Anyone in same boat? Other options? Opinions?

Docetaxel Update
Prior to starting Docetaxel, my
PSA
was 23.6; after 3 rounds, my
PSA
is 10.7; a decline of 12.9! Yes, the SE are BAD. I have lost all of my hair. My fingernails are discolored, lifting off and sore. I have aches and pains, I can’t walk well because my balance sucks. Food does not always stay down.

Oncologist and prostate surgeon conflicting treatment
Since then
PSA
has dropped to the lowest it can be.Now out of the blue when my Dad was seeing the prostate surgeon for urinary issues which have resolved, the surgeon thinks my Dad should come off the therapy (10 months later) and see if his
PSA
should rise to 4.

Biopsy results review tomorrow - suggestions on questions to ask?
Given the MRI report (PIRADS 5, “lit up” lymph node,
PSA
doubling), we and the doctors suspect it’s cancer. Just waiting for the official biopsy to confirm. My question to all of you who have gone through this, is going into urologist appt tomorrow, what questions would recommend my dad ask?

Help! Need feedback on Pluvicto recommendation
2) Have any of you had Pluvicto with a
PSA
below 1? 3) For any who’ve had Pluvicto while basically asymptomatic, how has it affected your quality of life? Thank you!!

I fired my oncologist
Now a year later my
PSA
is still undetectable and T rose to 9 (normal range 251-1068). I'm feeling better but still depressed and I want my sex drive back. So the plan now is to retest in Sept and if
PSA
is still undetectable then restart testosterone injections.

Conflicting MRI vs PSMA scans
My
PSA
is undetectable. My testosterone is 8. I am currently on Lupron and Erleada for six more months. Ive been on both for 18 months now after radiation to the one cancerous lymph node, below the illiac artery, and my entire lower lymphatic area.

After ADT
PSA
remained <0.1, whereas my T. rose from <0.4 to 0.9. Coming thursday I am seeing my oncologist/radiotherapist. Is there anything I should ask him about these results. I see him once every six months. Isn't that quite long? I thank you all for your attention.
