Running in circles
His
PSA
is <0.01 but his
PSA
has never been over 4 even before surgery. and only0.03 with mets on T9. So my question is after all this how do we know if it's cancer or not? seems after multiple CT scans and MRI scans I feel as though they should know something by now.

HAPPY EASTER.
I have just had written confirmation of my recent
PSA
test and a form to have another in one years time. It is still undetectable so pleased and I believe - though would have to look it up that it continues at the same number it has been since I completed my prostate cancer treatment.

forecast says it will rain, if you are done painting the fence, if you think the Browns are will lose anyway, if you really have nothing better to do: https://lifescievents.com/event/ambrx/ results from arx517 will be presented, it looks promising, it had basically a 100% success rate in decreasing

Food supplements I hope will help
I had:
PSA
30, Gleason 10, PCa Stage 4 localized to pelvic region. Treated with IMRT radiation + Eligard + Abiraterone.
PSA
undetectable. Stopped Abiraterone due liver that hates it (liver is ok). Will try Nubeqa, and may switch to Orgovyx after Eligard runs out in December.

Preparing for my Urologist Appointment re Increased PSA -- Including possible biopsy questions
I am preparing questions for my upcoming urologist appointment to discuss increased
PSA
. Any guidance that you veterans of these battles care to give would be appreciated. My total
PSA
is now 5.2 with 18.5% free. Eight months ago my
PSA
was 4.4. (21 months before that, 3.9.)

Thinking about stopping Xgeva
One think I might add is I had two compression fractures back when my
Psa
was 5664 and I started Lupron. TIA.

Sword of Damocles
I expect that withing 3-4 months my
psa
will tell me if I am in the good group where I could hope to make it to 80 (I am 65) or the bad group where all bets are off. I am somewhat dreading the inevitable that is coming. I dont know what to expect.

Just been told I have two years to live.
PSA
135. Totally shocked. Anyone had similar experience? Is it worth getting a second opinion? Any suggestions?

ipp and salvage radiation
Rp on july of 22 for gleason 3+4 with
psa
of 16. PT3b, pN1 with negative margins and 2 of 11 lymph nodes involved. I took a nomogram online and came out 75% likely for recurrence. My first
psa
post op was .02, then .03, .04, .04, .05 in late august- so I've crossed line #1.

Was Chemo "Successful"?
I just had my first
PSA
test after waiting to allow the results to mean something, after 10 rounds of doxytaxel. I was supposed to wait three months but for convenience pushed it by a week. I was hoping for a close to 0
PSA
but that is not the case.

Opinion sought for ADT treatment duration
Then I went through the typical 45 radiation treatments of the prostate. 3 months ago my
PSA
had dropped from 8 to 0.7. Last week it had dropped to 0.1 ng/ml. A biopsy last year showed 1 sample identified as Gleason 8. My urologist thinks I can stop taking Orgovyx at the end of 2023.

how statins slow growth of prostate
Here is my recent
PSA
history: 0.484 on 6/26/23, 0.400 on 7/24/23, 0.541 on 8/24/23, and finally 0.483 on 9/14/23. Another relevant fact is that I went on a plant based diet starting about 6 months ago and it is know that for some people this stabilizes or even reduces

THC/ Cannabis having Curative Effects for PC???
Ran across this study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7503992/ But is there any proof that THC helps to cure PC or lower
PSA
? I believe it’s used for pain relief, but are its benefits been proven beyond that? Thank you very much.

Next steps after cabazitaxel
PSA
has fallen from 83 in early July at the start to 5.1 a couple of weeks ago (after five treatments). I live in Nicosia, Cyprus, and am being treated here but I'm also a Mayo patient of Drs. Kwon and Orme. They have identified me as a candidate for Olaparib, based on genetic tests.
