Effectiveness of ADT
His
PSA
was 79.5 and Gleason 5+5. One month earlier doctors started hormone therapy (Lupron 22.5 mg along with Abiraterone and iron and calcium tablets ). After one month his
PSA
dropped to 7.9 but ALP rose to 2655. For ALP i read that it will flare upto 6 moths after start of ADT .

Low testosterone is associated with extremely poor survival metrics, post-ADT.
These companion plots compare: (A) median survival times, (B)
PSA
doubling times, and (C) Time to
PSA
Failure for two different levels of testosterone: Low and Normal. The low testosterone has a median value of 162 ng/dL [120-236] and the average normal T = 680 ng/dL.

PSA rockets up to 344
My
PSA
has jumped to 344 from a low of 3.6 last November, when I completed chemo with cabazitaxel.
PSA
did start to rise quite soon, into double digits, but this is by far my highest
PSA
ever. Dr.

Treatment Decision
PSA
is now zero, Testosterone is also zero. We noticed some mental/cognitive decline in my father and the doctor suggested we stop Orgovyx now at 9 months instead of going the full 2 years course. What would you recommend we do? Thank you!

PSA Doubling-Time
The different lines show the effect of different
PSA
doubling times (DT), ranging from DT 15 months. The lines are essentially straight lines, indicating a linear increase in the Incidence of Death as Time increases.

Sorry me again
I posted after last
PSA
and have the chemo # 5
PSA
now. It was 0.12 again ,same as chemo # 4. I know this is low but I'm just worried it is not low enough and will stay there. Is it normal to stop at Chemo 4 and 5 .

Tripple therapy - ADT+Lynparza+Xtandi
My
PSA
was 0.74, but now it has increased to 2.3. All other tretments and history are in my bio. The last Pet-choline done in Feb. 2024, did not show any mets, probably because at that time my
PSA
was 0.6. I have scheduled new PSMA Pet scan fo 4/25/24.

ALP AND RADIUM 223
We thought the
PSA
count wasn’t of much relevance when someone is on radium 223 as the Pca on the bones releases
PSA
when it’s being attacked by the radium - is this incorrect and should we be worried? Thanks All

3-months medical check
Very happy with results,
PSA
undetectable and other blood values good, too. No medication since orchiectomy in 02/2024. Still exercising daily and continuing with plant based diet plus some fish. For more details pls see bio. Will invite my wife for dinner tonight.

Docetaxal chemotherapy
When my
PSA
started to rise I took abiraterone and Lupron for 3 more years and was undetectable. It started to rise again to 1.78. Then I was put on Xtandi but after a week I developed a full body rash. When that cleared they gave me Nubeqa which gave me some unpleasant side effects.

PMR or PsA or both
My Rheumatologist thinks it could be PMR or
PsA
or both. Can't get a definite answer. It started overnight after a fall I had. Now I wake up really achy all over and after about an hour feel fine for 75, ha, ha. I'm only on prednisone 10mg. Any opinions would be a appreciated. Thx

I pleaded with the Onc if we could 'think outside the box' , can we try something, anything. 2 cycles of Carboplatin brought his

shot up.
