Pain near groin, but no PSA detected?
His three
PSA
tests since June (with the last in January) have been undetectable. When pain was mentioned to his doc in January, his doc didn’t seem to have an answer. MyGuy has been on morphine for groin pain for about 18 months, but says this is different.

Looking for suggestion of clinical trials for mCRPC
My
PSA
was undetectable (<0.01) for about 5 years, but in the last 4 quarters it began to creep up. Latest
PSA
this past week is 1.01, with no obvious symptoms at this point. Last MRI/CT scan 6 months ago was negative. Thanks in advance. Prefer Texas location if possible.

what is the role of a MO?
No one has ever referenced involvement by MO at any stage and RO seems to suggest he’ll handle it all if
PSA
rises. Is MO a “last ditch” team member? I know nothing about their role. Not itching to see a doc I don’t need, merely seeking info. Thanks.

Dutasteride (Advodart) as an Alternative to ADT in Salvage RT Setting?
So what I'm getting at is, if you had good post RARP pathology (no positive margins or lymph node invlovement, P2 Stage, Gleason < 8) it seems the first step may be to start Dutasteride at say 0.03
PSA
and monitor your ultra sensitive
PSA
score and then elect salvage RT if you see the
PSA
going up,

PSA Rising While on ADT and Abiraterone
I started Abiraterone in November 2022 and my
PSA
was 3.83. Over the last few months it dropped to 2.71, 2.50 and then 3.02 and now 3.28. Does this mean I am not responding to the Abiraterone any longer. I have only been on it for 3.5 months.

New to the forum and doing Intermittent ADT
Things looked great after my prostatectomy, but then my
PSA
started rising a year later. Got a PSMA scan and no mets were detectable. Decided against radiation and went with ADT only. My plan is to do ADT intermittently to get the best quality of life possible. Just trying to manage this.

Advise welcome.
You will note my
PSA
post surgery is 0.02g, with positive margins. My surgeon says I do not need and follow up treatment until my
PSA
goes to 0.4g. What do I do if my
PSA
remains low but cancer continues? Many thanks.

Waiting......
He goes to have his
PSA
drawn today. Then we wait. The lump on his back is more giant and the pain has increased tremendously—the Dr. did prescribe pain meds but the pain is unbearable starting around 5 PM. The plan is to have undetectable
PSA
and then check bi-weekly with no other meds.

Completed 5 doses Lu177; complications of marrow damage and renal toxicity
Recently completed 5th course LU177;
PSA
initially 16, now at 0.08. However, Hgb dropped from 9.7 to 7.3 after last infusion, requiring 2 units RBS transfusion. Additionally, creatinine increased from 1.2 to 2.0, indicating significant renal toxicity. Will forego last LU177 infusion.

BIOCHEMICAL RECURRENCE -NOW WHAT?
Then from Sep 2021
PSA
started increasing slowly. I had one PSMA Pet CT in Aug 2022 at
PSA
of 0.7. Then
PSA
kept going up so in Dec 2022 had another PSMA Pet CT at
PSA
of 1.3. Both scans showed no nodes, metastases or lesion in the prostrate. It was all clear.
