Prostate cancer test confidence…
I recently requested a physical prostate examination and a
PSA
test after suffering weeks of constant feelings of a need to urine. I had both of the tests as well as a urine test and was told that everything seemed fine.

No BT for those with Urinary Issues?
Although I am only a G3+3 with a single core presence, I sport a
PSA
of 13 and am on active surveillance at least until my next biopsy and mpMRI. I'm 75.

Need to make a decision and I’m absolutely frozen.
The nice thing about surgery is the
PSA
metrics are so simple afterward.
PSA
rise equals cancer. But lots must be sacrificed for that peace of mind including that you won’t be able to chase the cancer (except with ADT) for possibly over a year if your
PSA
is abnormal post-surgery.

PSA elevated due to Covid
Has anyone experienced an elevated
PSA
due to Covid? I have been testing my
PSA
in 3-4wk cycles, and it has been on a nice downward trend the past 140 days or so (9.2 ->5.7), no treatments, just supplements and lifestyle change. However, I had a jump of 1.3 in a 3wk timeframe.

Long Term Hematospermia
I done many tests, including a biopsy in jul 20, and
PSA
tests along the way. Took a very strong antibiotic, which messed up my digestive system, making it slower than it was. Anyway, this this has still not disappeared. It's not painful. Is there anyone else who's had the same/ have the same?

Updated treatment plan for progressing MCRPC
I am still taking abiraterone and dexamethasone and it is not working,
PSA
has been climbing. My Question is, should I switch the abiraterone for enzalutamide. There is some evidence for switching these drugs if one is no longer working. Apparently the dexamethasone is not good for bone health.

Need inputs on Abi side-effects for bed-ridden patient
First time in 2 years
PSA
is starting to go up, so wanted feedback. Overall physical condition is largely same and no visible changes/deterioration. Just got the next test done yesterday and it seems to be on an increasing trend.

Lu-177 rhPSMA-10.1 another lutetium! Very promising results

Back to doxetol
After seven months on cab it kicked my ass, two months now back to doxetol that I had in 2018.my
PSA
rise to 502.4, after the first infusion it dropped to 194.4 a much needed surprise. I am scheduled for a consultation with radiology to see what there plan is for the lesions on the liver.

Intro
Had a Radical Prostatectomy with clear margins, and for a year have had
PSA
tests less than the 0.1 level. Most recent test jumped from 0.047 to 0.075 concerning me that the surgery was not fully successful.

Vacation time again
My
PSA
is down a notch to 0.2. We decided to follow the original plan of intermittent ADT and I’m starting another ADT vacation. This round of ADT had started with minimal SE’s but in the last month or so it’s gotten worse.

How to monitor intraductal PCa that has low PSA production?
My aggressive intraductal PCa (0.88 Decipher) does not express
PSA
/PSMA very well (see my bio). Dx in June,2022. I've been getting 3 month Eligard injections for the last 7 mos., to continue for possibly 11 more mos.

Inspiration
My
PSA
is now below 0.1 my energy level is up and I continue to make incremental gains in my workouts and in endurance. There is a theory that if the body has zero or near zero T, it will figure out an alternate way to build muscle.

Seeking advice on course of action after Decipher Report
My
PSA
is 0.12 and my doubling time appears to be ~5 months. To me that's hard to square with a 15 year risk of mortality. 15 years would be 36 doublings and if I survived that long, my
PSA
would be 69 billion, which seems a little on the high side.
