Intermediate favorable vs. unfavorable Gleason 7 acc.to 2 doctors + CLEAN PSMA, do we need third opinion +where? (Green Bay/Milwaukee areas)
You should know my husband is opposed to doing a radical
prostatectomy
and is pretty dead-set against ADT so when the cancer is treated we are leaning towards brachytherapy.

Waiting for PSA Rise Post-Surgery Before Obtaining PSMA-PET– waiting too long can put some patients at risk, MedPage Today, July 6, 2023.
They adjusted for age, year of radical
prostatectomy
, established prostate cancer prognostic factors, institution, and the time-dependent use of androgen-deprivation therapy.

Bone CT results.
After
prostatectomy
3.5 years ago, I had two mets in the femur. They were treated succesfully with stereotactict radiotherapy. My PSA currently and for the last 33 months is <0.01 Recent Bone CT scan results finds 22 mm new sclerotic metastasis in the femur.

I had a
prostatectomy
in September 2022. My PSA showed a result of "undetectable" at 3, 6, and 9 months after surgery. At 12 months, it was no longer undetectable. A PSMA PT scan showed mild to moderate uptake in several lymph nodes around the site of my
prostatectomy
but no distant disease.

Leakage with Sex
I had radical
prostatectomy
5 years ago. I have urine leakage with sex. (known as "climacturia"). My doctors have suggested a few possible fixes including surgical implants like a "sling", an "artificial sphincter" and a couple of other options.

Potential biochemical recurrence post radical prostatectomy, looking for perspective on the outcomes and treatments.
63-year old Male, months shy of 5-year mark of the radical
prostatectomy
, showed PSA of .08 in January then .07 in March. Originally had up to Gleason 9’s. I know it’s not technically a recurrence until .2, and doubling time is the next variable to look out for.

Dad just diagnosed, looking for advice
He's been given a lot of information to read and he will be meeting with his care team again soon to decide on a treatment plan - the treatment options being considered are active surveillance, radiotherapy/hormones, focal therapy, and robotic radical

About Radiation After Radical Prostatectomy
Do Physicians only recommend radiation for non metastatic men? and only recently in Oligo metastatic patients? Do they use radiation as a tool to bring psa down in metastatic men? and or radiation is only used as palliative for bones and pain? My apologies, If I’m not processing this thoroughly

Low psa, but have pca
Even though it's a Gleason 6, urologist at top teaching hospital in Philadelphia says I need a radical
prostatectomy
soon because the PSA is low, (0.7), he says this means the cancer could be clone or rebel cancer cells and they don't give off the antigen to elevate the PSA, but they could be aggressive

Erection return
For those who have experienced radical
prostatectomy
, my question is about the return of erectile function. I realize it may never come back. Or it may come back but it could take up to 2 years. I am doing penis pumping once to twice daily. I am taking daily sildenafil.

Radiation after Radical Prostatectomy with Lymph Node Removal in Non Metastatic and Metastatic Men. Need some answers.
I had a radical
prostatectomy
with lymph node removal only 8, negative for pca. But, found with positive EPE margins, bladder wall, and microscopic bladder neck. A RO mentioned radiation to prostate bed and left lymph nodes Will it help me? As I am Oligo metastatic.

Blood and clots in urine 5 weeks after RP
My husband (51 years old) had a Robotic
Prostatectomy
about 5 weeks ago. Pathology showed Pt3a, bladder neck invasion, perineural invasion, non-focal EPE, negative margins, no positive lymph nodes. Last week at 4 weeks post op he began having on and off blood and blood clots in his urine.

Reviewing my final Path report, post RP
C) Prostate gland, radical
prostatectomy

Erections, cockrings, pumps, injectables...
I have been using "the pump" for the past year since my
prostatectomy
. It's not the fancy Vacurect one....just the regular model. After pumping, I have tried putting a cock ring around JUST my cock but find that the erection won't stay.

Under Impression it says (emphasis added): "History of high risk metastatic prostate cancer, status post
prostatectomy
and bilateral orchiectomy. Now with rising PSA. 1. No evidence of local recurrence in the surgical resection bed. 2. No suspicious PSMA avid lymphadenopathy. 3.
