PSA is 0.14 after 2.3 years after radical prostatectomy. Gleason score 4+3. All margins, lymph nodes etc clear. Thanks!!!

From then it actually took 8 months to receive a Robotic Prostatectomy which found my Gleason to be a 9 with seminal vesicle invasion. Dec 8 2018 post Prostatectomy PSA 12/8/18 @ 0.6 - 01/08/18 @ 1.51 and again 02/14/18 @ 3.57. It is a horrible feeling.

I am gearing up for a prostatectomy but am really scared of the side effects. Has anyone had the surgery and what has been your results?

I had an open prostatectomy last week and also all lymph nodes were removed as the cancer had spread to one of them at least. Getting the catheter out tomorrow and I’m glad as it’s driving me nuts.

Treatment consisted of primary ADT until PSA nadir with consecutive prostatectomy. Patients underwent retropubic radical prostatectomy (RRP) or robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP) after inductive ADT until achievement of the PSA nadir, which is in general reached after 6-7 months.

He had a Prostatectomy done around 14 years ago, followed by a round of radiation therapy. The incontinence grew worse until he felt that he needed this device to improve the quality of his life.

I was diagnosed in November 2010 and had a radical prostatectomy in January 2011 (3+4, pT2c N0 M0, negative margins, no extra capsular extension, no seminal vesicle involvement). My post-surgery PSA remained undetectable for 54 months and then came in at 0.05 ng/ml in September 2015.

I was diagnosed in 2009, and had the DaVinci Prostatectomy. A year later my first introduction to Lupron and 13 weeks of Radiation Therapy. I was clean until early 2012, and then went on Lupron full time. In 2016 that began to lose efficacy, and we added Zytiga and Prednasone.

My history: 2012 radical prostatectomy followed by 40 days of radiation. Gleason score of 9. 4 years of ADT, 2 year break from ADT, when a chance MRI of my lower back revealed abnormal lymph nodes. Subsequent PSAs show velocity increasing. Now at 4.5 pre-chemo.

"Men should be counseled before radical prostatectomy that penile shortening may occur." I asked my surgeon about this before my RP.

GS 10, post radical prostatectomy, post doxytaxl. Currently in an immune experiment with NIH, getting close to the fail point. Would rather not chemo again, but will if I have to. anyone know of anything new/experimental ?

Hello, I am the wife of a man who is 17 years post prostatectomy, 15 years post salvage radiation, participant in at least 4 clinical trials (not all with treatment goal) and beneficiary of one anti-CTLA 4 trial in which he was an exceptional responder....TMI?

They also recommended that he get genetic testing done on the prostate tissue from when he has a radical prostatectomy last year (in March 2017). They said if it is genetic then there may be a pill he can take to fix the malfunctioning gene. Has anyone had any experience with any of this?

I decided to undergo a radical prostatectomy (RP). After I made this decision he mentioned a clinical trial I may qualify for. He discussed it with me briefly. It sparked interest, so he referred me to an oncologist. In addition, detailed information on the trial was sent to me.

Age 72, Gleason 9, prostatectomy in February 2018, 2 of 12 lymph nodes positive. PET scan this week in Nashville to determine treatment. I live 280 miles from my MO. Has anyone had experience with receiving local treatment under the guidance of a MO who lives hundreds of miles away?
