just got biopsy back-and prostatectomy recomended
at first ,was glad to hear gleason score was just at 3+4=7,but than after discussion with Dr Mian realized that score was intermediate risk and being only 58-'cure' was the operative word. One problem,i have read hundreds of horror stories in regard to this procedure and I am leaning towards not doing

Post prostatectomy when to start having anal sex?
My doctor didn't talk about when I could start having anal sex again post
prostatectomy
. Any guidelines guys know about? Also, Gleason 8 with capsule and one seminal vesicle involved, nodes and metastatic screen negative. What does everyone think about radiation alone vs. hormone therapy.

Does A Plant-based Diet cure Cancer?
doing_wp_cron=1507859792.2476089000701904296875 Due to continued rise in PSA after
prostatectomy
and IMRT I gave up all booze (mainly red wine as beer was already off the menu) and red meat in mid-2016. I went fully vegetarian in Dec 2016.

Prostate Cancer Surgery and Incontinence
And if a
prostatectomy
happens due to cancer, incontinence is often a part of life after the surgery. Sometimes the incontinence lasts just a few months, sometimes longer. I am sharing a link to a story by a man who had prostate cancer and lived with incontinence after his surgery.

mets to lungs now stage four
I had my
prostatectomy
Oct 2016 and a Gleason 10 age 65. Am on casodex daily and lupron injections every three months. My question relates to anyone with lung mets? And treatment? I have been told radiation is probably out due to broad area of involvement. Thanking you all in advanced!

Urologist recommends radical
prostatectomy
. Apr 2015. Radical
prostatectomy
(da vinci robot). Pathology report shows positive margins, seminal vesicle invasion, extra-capsular extension and one positive lymph node out of 20 removed. Now I am really getting worried! May 2015.

Who'd of thunk it?
After talking with several oncologists, I settle on a robot assisted
prostatectomy
. After the operation I was told the team could not get all of the cancer out. The margins were bad, the local lymph nodes, seminal vesicles, and nerves that were harvested were all full of cancer.

I had a radical
prostatectomy
back in 2014 (Gleason score 8). Everything fine since then and PSA under control (about 0.875). I developed lower back pains in about April and initially sought remedy through various neurosurgeons.

Massage to loosen painful scar tissue
Someone recently mentioned having significant pain due to residual scar tissue following
prostatectomy
surgery. Seek out a massage therapist offering myofascial release or deep tissue massage which can breakup scar tissue anywhere in the body.

I'm new here.
I'm a 70 yr. old man that had a combined
prostatectomy
and diverticulotomy 5 months ago. The diverticula was very large prostate gleason score 7. However, I feel that I'm still retaining more than I should. I was experiencing some incontinence before my surgery, and continue to do so.
