Progesterone

No bleeding whatsoever, a little bit of white discharge, but suspect this is from the progesterone capsules. I'm seeing loads of other people's success stories of testing positive from as early as day 5 so feeling hopeless now. Can anyone relate to any of this?

, as theres a higher risk of blood clots, assuming the long length of time is because they'll be giving me progesterone after pregnancy if i do get pregnant.

I was never offered HRT or even just progesterone even though they discovered the endo during that surgery and they try to scrape what they could.

I’m not sure this is normal or not, I’m on 400mg progesterone 3x a day and lubion and oestrogen 4mg 3x a day So I know that’s a lot of hormones But just wondered why I’m feeling down today of all days - I’m normally excited ive Conceived 4 x in the last 2.5y but all resulted in early miscarriages

I had my period as normal, after coming off progesterone pessaries, wasnt any different than usual but the spotting for me around this time is odd, or if period is coming, would mean it’s 2 weeks early?

got a question, I'm on progesterone pessaries twice a day and on progesterone injection every alternate day, I'm 4 weeks 5 days pregnant, how long do I have to continue using

Uk timeframes of progesterone support extend beyond the Greek 9 weeks. I have read those using for 10 weeks, and others for up to and even over 12 weeks 2. Since my 6 week scan, no further scans have been held to check the lining thickness/ lil baby.

My consultant said that I'd contact them when I reach day 1 of my next cycle then take progesterone for 5 days then oestrogen for 10 days but I've been searching on the internet and see that there is a bleed in between so now I'm confused on dates and wondering if the ERA will clash with my planned holiday

My gp says im progesterone intolerant. I feel like my endo is trying to get rid of me, blaming my symptoms on the menopause. He is only interested in my Tsh.

Hi everyone, my progesterone came back good at 45 and apparently normal is 15/20 so that great! Hopefully we have transfer tomorrow provided we get a call in the morning that one made it to blast. I wanted to ask what supplements you take vitamin wise from transfer day?

I’ve talked to the nurse who told me to keep going with my progesterone injections and test again tomorrow. I’ve also been spotting (just brown blood and not very much) since Sunday. Has anybody experienced something similar and still tested positive?

We are transferring a day later and I’m going to get progesterone checked in the 2ww. Apart from that theres not much else we can do apart from hope for the best. Good luck everyone no matter what stage you are at you are not alone xxx

Nice strong line which is slightly more reassuring after our chemical in May 🤞 A question for you ladies who had a BFP on OTD after a natural cycle - did you continue progesterone pessaries at all? My clinic have told me to finish what I have (used the last one this morning) and that’s that!

I contacted the consultant who advised me to increase the progesterone to 3 times daily. Also we’ll do a scan on the morning of the planned transfer day, before thawing the embryo. Has anyone experienced anything similar and still managed to progress to FET?

Did any of you who have gone for a natural cycle still use progesterone pessaries before or after transfer ? 

Plus my clinic doesn't measure things like progesterone levels so maybe for some reason I respond better to the FET meds? We are starting treatment in Jan and I have to tell them by Dec if we want to do a full cycle or freeze all.

Anyone else on the progesterone only pill?has it made a difference? How long did it take?Breakthrough bleeding? Any stories highly appreciated .Thanks lovelies.  ♥️sabrina x

Someone I know needs an Endo that can prescribe female hormones, namely progesterone. She's seen other Endos and Gynae who have all been useless.

Got a call today and they have re-looked and because they spotted a follicle and then started Progesterone the next day on the second ERA they should have taken my progesterone levels there and then so effectively it could be an inaccurate result.

We got 4 eggs in the end and sadly only 1 fertilised normally and we took the decision to do a Day 3 transfer and do the immune protocol (clexane, Prednisilone and more progesterone than normal). Sadly BFN. So that is it - our IVF journey is over, just like that. I really can't handle any more.
