Specific food cravings?
Does anyone have cravings for very specific foods or tastes since having PA? When I was much younger, I had a bad case of Graves Disease and craved salt, for the iodine content obviously. Lately, I have have had unusual cravings for eggs and grits. For my UK friends, grits are a mostly southern USA

Refusing RAI
I’m interested in hearing about people’s experience of refusing RAI. What doctors have said to convince them to undergo it, and how they have responded to being challenged.

TPO and TG thyroid antibodies & anti depressants
Good health to all in 2020! Could someone please explain why it is important to have TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested? I finally found a decent endo. who accepts that more than TSH needs to be tested. Only he doesn’t think it necessary to check TPO & TG. He explained why at the end of a long

Wishing all my friends a very happy Christmas, and the best of health possible for our eyes in the coming new year.
Just to update my dear friends that I have just had my first injection after my Endophthalmitis infection, I was quite nervous and made sure all the correct sterile protocol practises were in place,I was given a course of antibiotic eye drops a few days before and now for 5 days after, the injection

Testresult
Hello you all , I have done a test for thyroid and result is ths 20 (should be between 0,5 and 4,5 ) and t4 is 12 (should be between 10 and 20). Would it be worth to try to fix it with minerals like iodine selenium zink magnesium and a diet without gluten diary? Some say You have to take hormone medication

What are the most essential but minimal vits and minerals needed for optimal thyroid function if you are hypo?
I really need to reduce my supplements for several reasons. For one, I am feeling increasingly nauseous and unsettled in my system after I take the myriad level of supplements I'm currently taking. I know it's the supplements, because when I don't take them, I don't feel like this. I always have them

Can mild incline in potassium levels after b12 inj therapy explain heart palpitation and anxiety?
I'm probably deficient in b12 as I have many of the relevant symptoms (including neurological) so I started b12 injection therapy in the advice of my Doctor. I'm using cianocoblamin 1000 mcg injection each alternate day. I'm also mildly deficient with Iron so I take the Solgar "Gentle Iron" - 25mg byglicinate

Please help- running out of options (new here)
Hey there, I was just hoping someone would be able to help me. I've been sick for over a year now, and have seen so many doctors, mainly gastroenterologists as I was diagnosed with SIBO. But nothing seems to have helped in that area (e.g. antibiotics) I just came back from a rheumatology appointment

How many Drs does it take to request a blood test??
The answer for me today is apparently more than 2. (Apologies for the following rant in advance). My appointment today with my normally lovely doctor was sat in by an American exchange doctor as well. My doctor has known for quite a while that my thyroid is giving me no end of pain and troubles, but
