Vitamin supplements
I currently take evening primrose capsules and vitamin D tablets together late afternoon (primrose includes vitamin E). Is it better to separate these or to take with food? They both have added incipients. Should I be looking for natural vitamins instead? Also, I have purchased some Liposomal vitamin

Chat GBT and Ai support for Hypothyroid
I dialled into the new Google artificial intelligence software today to ask whether it new how to address hypothyroid symptoms. I was somewhat shocked to be told that part of the solution was to increase iodine consumption I wrote back explained the error and asked the robot to reconsider the advice

iodine and thyroid
Beware supplements with iodine. I am a thyroid cancer survivor who had half of my thyroid removed and recently started taking a supplement that had seaweed in it. At my annual thyroid check up (just a few weeks after starting the supplement) my blood work and thyroid function had changed. My doctor

postpartum thyroiditis
Hi, I'm 8 months post partum and had my bloods done for hair thinning and some aches and pains, and my thyroid levels have come back abnormal. Although my t4 level is normal at 14 my tsh level is 10.6 which after Googling seems to be very high. I'm retesting as it's been a month to check if the levels

Irish sea moss?
Someone was telling me yesterday that they use Irish sea moss and swear by it. Googled it and read lots of positive comments about its health benefits. Does anyone here use it? Does it mess with levothyroxine/thyroid as it’s rich in iodine? Thank you 😊

Thoughts on extra Iodine intake in pregnancy (history of Graves)
Hi there, I am currently in remission for Graves disease and am 19 weeks pregnant. I heard that there is more need for iodine in pregnancy and am considering taking extra (in the form of liquid iodine - a few drops absorbed into the skin daily). However I am a bit apprehensive about whether this is

Sudden exhaustion. help?!?
Hello all... I was on levothyroxine (t4) AND Liothyronine (t3) but had constant heart reactions so chosen to return to levo only. This was in July 2022. I had been on 75mcg T4/5mcg T3 for some years. I had to lower and then raise slowly because of my overreaction to raises, it was all going well
