Pretty quick failure of ADT + Zytiga... next?
Quick history: 2019 PSA of 20, a few probable spinal mets, bicalutamide monotherapy mid-2020 for six months failed early-2021 after PSA dropped to 3.8. Tried to initiate ADT via tE2 with estrogen patches in Spring 2021, but could not get T to castrate levels, stubbornly above 150 even at higher doses

Questionable ingredients in spiriva respimat?
My doctor has let me try both the handihaler and the respimat for a month each and asked me to decide which works better for me. DC’s bone scan results are in!
Dr added
Potassium

as his levels are slightly under normal. He will also be taking melatonin for sleep assistance. DC walked out of the office with his chin up and pretty positive and that is everything! He goes back to work on Monday and he is looking forward to getting back to normal.

What's my correct egofr.. Creatinine decreased from 94.96umol/L last may to 90.58 today....but egfr remained at 83%.
All electrolytes were within normal range except sodium was low at 130.36(136-145) and
Chloride
was also low at 95.82(97-108)..
potassium
was at 4.72 (3.5-5.1). From my own research with a creatinine of 90.58, I got egfr of 87.

Potassium in the diet
I know that too much salt in the diet is not good for you, so for many many years I've been using (sparingly) so-called "50% sodium salt, which is a mixture of 50% sodium
chloride
and 50%
potassium
chloride
. It's readily available in supermarkets as a means of reducing your sodium intake.

Pompholyx (dyshidrotic eczema) and potassium permanganate
I developed Pompholyx (dyshidrotic eczema) on my hands last year. It was diagnosed and the symptoms treated using hydrocortisone cream following doctor's instructions. It got better, but didn't completely go away. The hydrocortisone dried my skin out so much that it still hasn't fully recovered over

Potassium Citrate -Amazingii
I had a procedure in January for removal of a kidney stone and was advised by my Surgeon to take Potassium Citrate . This was found to help prevent recurring stones forming . Interestingly , this medication , which has a major common side effect of stomach issues and diarrhoea has had a reverse effect

OLD on blood results
The blood sample needs to go to the lab the same day for some tests including Folate
Potassium
chloride
and sodium. My bloods were taken in the afternoon so we’re sent to the lab the next day. A lesson that bloods should be taken early morning. I shall have them done again.

Happy with gfr going up but....
I am surprised however, that my sodium (143 mmol/L)
potassium
(4.9) and
chloride
(105) levels have gone up, even though within normal range (high end) they are quite a bit higher than they’ve ever been in the last couple of years.

Mediterranean diet
There was a question posted recently about diet and how to ensure that you are getting enough nutrients from food. I thought my answer might be useful to others, so here is much of information that I posted and a bit more in case anyone missed it. I attended a course on the microbiome (gut bacteria)
