Preparing for thyroid tests
Hello. I am going to have my full thyroid test done next week. I understand that I need to be fasting, and not to take Levo for 24 hours prior to the test. What about liothyronine? Do I need to wait 24 hours ? Also take vitamin B 6, B 12 and B 1 and iron. Should I stop taking these vitamins 24 hours

The importance of vitamin B6 against Parkinson's. The end of a meaningless prejudice since 1975.

Help before consultant appt on blood results
Hi all Following my last blood results my GP referred me to an Endo who in the first appointment last month suggested I might benefit from T3 (great potentially!) I was at the time feeling a bit of chest tightness so he reduced my levo down from 150mcg to 125mcg, and sent me off for a retest in a month

Multivitamins or individual - recommendations?
Hi all I hope you’re doing well. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a good multi vit containing ferritin, folate and selenium or am I better off using individual? Do you have recommendations for good ones? I’ve been using vitamin B complex (ignneus super b) for the last 2 months but haven

Should I push harder for tests to rule out essential thrombocythemia?
I have a complex medical history, mixed connective tissue disease, RA, eosiniophilc esophagitis, hypopituitarism, adrenal insufficiency, exercise anaphylaxis, a bunch of things that are unrelated, some serious, some annoyances. I have extremely high bone density, so have degenerative spinal disease

Vitamin E and Vitamin B ok to take with Levothyroxine?
Hi, I’ve been diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis. Long and painful story but I lost my daughter full term in June and had a mmc in December. My full term loss was a very rare pregnancy complication - nothing to do with my thyroid - it was 1.08 5 weeks after birth. Since august I have known that

Latest results show low TSH, high FT4 but have hypo symptoms, seeing endo next Monday
Hi, this is my second post on this forum. I need some help interpreting my latest figures from a prick blood test I did with Thriva. As they use wide ranges I've included 'normal' and 'optimal' ranges that they highlight in their results. I took this test on Monday 18 Jan in the morning on fasting stomach
