Am I part of the 1.5 million vulnerable patients
As I get a flu jab (asthmatic) every year even though under 65, I thought I would have heard from my GP by now regarding being in this vulnerable group. So far only a generic message txt saying nothing about being vulnerable. Has anyone on here received such a NHS txt

Am I in the vulnerable group
I use Salamol inhaler and should have the flu jab but I’m allergic. Am I in the Coronavirus vulnerable group? I can’t get through to my dr to ask and I work in retail. My manager has been asking for a letter from the NHS but I haven’t received one. Thank you.

Not received the 12 week isolation text,is lupus not included in the list?
Hi all, As the title suggests I have not received a text to self isolate. I suffer from SLE, secondary Raynaud's and Sjogrens syndrome, hypertension, osteoarthritis and B12 deficiency. Currently I am on hydroxychloroquine 200mg, esomorazole, propranolol and calcium and vit D tablets. I had a flu jab

Hi, I work for the NHS and I’ve seen the asthma UK guidance on isolating for 12 weeks. I apparently fall into this category as I am taking symbicort 400/12 two puffs twice daily. I didn’t realise my asthma was severe I knew it was worse then the average. I have not yet received any message or letter

Lupus/dermatomyositis overlap for 12 years
Hi, I have had Lupus/dermatomyositis overlap for 12 years. Last September I came off immunosuppressants and have been well since then. I have just started to get joint pain again in my fingers. -What I wanted to ask is should I be self isolating? I still get the flu jab. Thanks

I'm unsure what to do
Hi I'm a childcare worker with mild copd , I'm not sure because I'm mild should I be self isolating. ? If my family have their way I should not leave the house are they overreacting ? I saw the list of vulnerable persons and it states people much worse than me . But others say if you get the flu

Who will be asked to stay in
Hello, I have Bronchiectasis and asthma. All is controlled.... I take medication and have a Nebulizer for the salt and water stuff and take 3 antibiotics a week. I am fine with all of that. I don’t need carers and I am well. Do you think I will be on that list? I also have the flu jab. Mary xx

Stop meds or carry on taking
Methotrexate and biologic for rhem arth means I'm immunocompromised. 53 years old. Normal flu is a threat hence we are given a flu jab. Covid 19 is much more contagious and more severe. Surely it's prudent to stop taking meds until a vaccine arrives. But that could be a year. Medical advice is to keep

Covid-19 & Afib
Hi I'm in a dilemma, I am on medication and further tests re Afib. I'm having tests as up until January my Afib had been very stable. Since January I seem to be having episodes everyday. I don't want to overreact but are you socially isolating including speaking to employer to arrange to work from

I start with this, a guy goes to the Doctor, says Doc it hurts when I touch here Doc says don’

Some advice on self isolating please.
I wonder if anyone could offer advise. I suffer with asthma that is pretty poorly controlled. I have a Qvar preventer inhaler and the usual blue inhaler. I normally have to take my blue inhaler 2-3 times a day. I always end up with chest infections when I get a cold and was really poorly when I contracted

More vulnerable to Covid 19 with only one kidney?
I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2017 and had my right kidney removed - I am in remission but as I now only have one kidney have a reduced kidney function which I understand is normal. I do get the flu jab free ( I am 58). I have spoken to lots of different organisation about whether I should consider
