Will my periods be just as irregular if I switch to the implant from the progestogen only pill?
For eight months I was on the progestogen only pill, since I cannot take medication containing oestrogen, however I experienced long and irregular periods that were just too much to deal with so I stopped taking it. Since then my natural menstrual cycle has resumed and I am considering my next form of

Irregular periods and negative pregnancy test
I have irregular periods around 45-47 days. We have been trying for a baby and have been using an app to track my ovulation as best as I can. Last week I was ovulating. Today and yesterday I have been feeling nauseous, especially if I am hungry. I have lower back pain, lower abdominal twinges and dull

First Period after Laparoscopy
Hi all, So I am no a week post -op, and I am about to expect my period for the first time. Like many, I’ve always struggled with periods and I am really worried about having this one, as many have said the first is the worst! Was just wondering how others experiences were after having the laparoscopy

In the month of April I had periods that didn't stop for a month and continued till the 1st week of May and now since May, June, July I'm having only spottings some times. I haven't visited the GP yet

Monthly pain or constant?
Hi all, just a quick question for those who have been diagnosed with endo..is the pain constant every day or just monthly at the time of period? I had a lap done with a general gyne and he said my pain won't be endo its hormone related because the pain is only during my cycle. (Its severe to the point

Intense pain in stomach when I have a period (not menstrual cramps)
I've noticed that when I have periods, I get pains in my stomach. These aren't the usual menstrual cramps either, I get them but this stomach pain is entirely different. Right now as I type this, I am struggling with the pain. It feels like what I would imagine your stomach to feel like if you haven't

Combined Pill
I am on the combined pill (Rigevidon specifically) and I have a pack where 9 of the pills have fallen out (due to being squished when moving houses). I am currently on a pack that has all the pills in it. But if I take the pack that has the missing pills, will this mess up my cycle? I went on the pill

Which menstrual phase is longest?
Hi everyone I’m wondering if there is any knowledge out there about the length of menstrual phases for PCOS women with irregular periods. I understand that we often have irregular periods but which phase are we ‘stuck’ in? Is it the follicular phase, perhaps because we’re struggling to ovulate? Or is

Period symptoms on the pills?
Hi, I've been taking Cerazette over 6 months so far and my period is completely stopped. But I sometimes feel like I'm on my period as my weight slightly gains & my mood changes a lot- it seems to happen on a monthly basis and goes away in a few days. I'm not sure whether this is because of my period
