Taking

, dorzolamide/timolol for over a month but recently seems to make me dizzy especially when lying flat. Also slowly withdrawing diamox 250mg. How can I lie still for surgery with this. Does anyone have advice or experience of this. All comments appreciated.

Pilocarpine / Eyes
My rheumatologist has now prescribed
Pilocarpine
and I started on 5 mg today. Almost immediately I noticed my mouth wasnt quite as dry but after one day I’ve not noticed any difference with my eyes. Did anyone have success with this medication? If so after how long?

Have recently seen that there are drugs called
Pilocarpine
and Cevimeline, and am desperate to get something that helps.

Overwhelming Fatigue please help
I currently take Hydroxychloroquine and
pilocarpine
but neither help with the debilitating fatigue. I’m waiting to go on Mycophenolate but need an operation on my foot so can’t start it until after. Has anyone had overwhelming fatigue and what worked for you?

Anyone have Sjorgen's or dry mouth too?
Anyway, my Hep at the Mayo Clinic wrote me a script for
Pilocarpine
HCL and OMG.... I'm positively giddy. You get used to things that are uncomfortable and I didn't realize how crappy I was feeling until it was taken away. My eyes are no longer gritty, like they have sand in them.

Photophobia in a Patient with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
Her photophobia gradually resolved with
pilocarpine
eye-drops. Adie's tonic pupil is an autonomic nervous system disorder characterized by mydriasis with a poor light response. It is 3 times more common in women than in men and is unilateral in 80% of cases. Patients may have areflexia.

IKervis (ciclosporin eye drops)
My rheumatologist was sympathetic and prescribed
pilocarpine
tablets instead. They were effective but I struggled with the shivers and sweats as a side effect. Eventually I agreed with the eye clinic corneal consultant that I'd give the iKervis another go.

Salagen/Pilocarpine
Well today I learnt from my Rhumy nurse that
Pilocarpine
/ Salagen is no longer being made and once the stock has been depleted there will be no more. I know it has been extremely difficult to actually get hold of it for the last 6 months.

Salagen (Pilocarpine)
I was just wondering if any other Lupus with Sjogren's patients were struggling to get supplies of Salagen again. My pharmacy was saying the next supplies are due in May 2017 now. Is anyone else experiencing problems ?

Sjogren's Medications?
And that was my total introduction to SS as she gave me a script for
Pilocarpine
HCL The problem with the
Pilocarpine
is that it raises blood pressure and mine (which usually runs about 120 / 70) has gotten pretty high with even one, let alone 3 a day.

My treatment is with primarily Methotrexate injections, folic acid, and
pilocarpine
for my dry mouth. I also take several other medications to help me sleep, for arthritis, lung problems, nerve pain, GERD, headaches, etc.
