Thyroid status and brain circulation: The Rotterdam Study
FT4 (in pmol/L) levels had an inverse u-shaped association with global brain
perfusion
, such that high and low levels of FT4 were associated with lower global brain
perfusion
compared to middle levels of FT4.

Losing my determination
My last brain scan in June was a
perfusion
one but I don't know what conclusion they came to, but a small new lung lesion was found and quickly treat in September. I've had my follow up appointment for that radiotherapy consultant delayed twice with the next appointment by phone due in a week.

Muscle pain in chest
I've had a myocardial
perfusion
scan as it started on my left side and a chest xray which were both negative. I know it's muscular as it only hurts when i move. So, if i reach for something that part will hurt and go away after about 30 minutes. The same when I get up or get in my car etc.

Heart Scan
I then had to go back In April and have a
perfusion
scan. During the scan the doctor stopped it and said that it was not for me. A couple of weeks later I got a report from my cardioligist.

Unsure of what is happening
Just had a myocardial
perfusion
scan which says 15% in lad which I believe is nothing to shout about? So why do I still get symptoms and run out of steam so quickly???

Has anyone in here also been diagnosed with Left ventricular dysfunction, alongside their AF ?
Aware from my BP pharmacology consultant that they diagnosed this from last Nov when I had a Nuclear
perfusion
test. But not really had a proper consultant review since then. Will phone them and ask for one. But meanwhile thought it would be good to hear other's experiences.

Worrying about tests
One Cardiologist wants me to have a
perfusion
stress scan (injected stress ) and another wants an angiogram. Am worried stress scan will make heart rate worse and it won’t go back easily. Also that I will get chest pain during test. Anyone got sane condition and had either test?

Confusing reports
I had my
perfusion
mri last week so waiting for those results as the consultant thinks my issues stem more from my valves and brought on during stress and exertion.

LBBB
My heart is good because the wall and
perfusion
is good. But I don’t understand why I do have LBBB? Please explain.

Heart to heart
I also had a restriction in the RCA but a recent cardiac stress
perfusion
MRI showed it to be much improved. Just prior to my HA I had an aviation medical at East Mids Airport and the ECG was fine. Like any medical, it doesn’t guarantee you’ll make the door.

Vascular Dysfunction in the Brain as an Initiating Event in Parkinson’s Disease
Zlokovic’s papers published in the prestigious peer-reviewed journal, Cell: “aberrant angiogenesis, vessel regression, brain hypo-
perfusion
, and inflammatory responses, may initiate and/or contribute to a ‘vicious circle’ of the disease process, resulting in progressive synaptic and neuronal dysfunction

Feeling bad after cardiac stress test.
On June 3 I went for a cardiac
perfusion
stress test with the resting
perfusion
test to be completed on June 4. On the morning of June 4 I was unable to function, was weak, dizzy, nauseated, and unable to walk more than about 10 steps. I managed to complete the test the following Tuesday.

And two months ago he had a stress
perfusion
MRI with results last week. To be honest, with his exercise levels creeping up to a good three miles most days, he wasn't breathless, looks really well, active ...we were privately feeling smug about hearing good news.

Written report from private Cardiac Stress MRI advice needed
Myocardial
perfusion
assessed at rest and during after Regadenoson stress. Baseline HR – 91, Peak HR – 140. No symptoms. Slice position has altered between rest and stress with slight difference is size. Overall myocardial
perfusion
appears normal at rest and stress (with some rim artefact). 9.

Microvascular Angina
Back in 2018 I was diagnosed with Microvascular Angina through MRI Cardiac
Perfusion
scan. I have breathlessness on exertion on a daily basis, but not quite sure if this is solely related to cardiac issues, as I'm also under investigation for lung problems.
