New to heart problems
Long time vegan and lifelong vegetarian, non drinker etc, cholesterol 4.2, which could be from taking testosterone { testicular cancer years ago} So my consultant wants an MRI cardiac stress
perfusion
done before he can say which way to go, just drugs or a single bypass.

Hello, I am due to have a cardiac MRI with
perfusion
end of March at the Royal Brompton. Does anyone know if they give you any info on what they have found straight after the scan or do you have to wait for the report?

New girl unsure of what things mean
If the echo is normal we could perform a stress echo or a myocardial
perfusion
scan in order to investigate further.’ I’m struggling to get an appointment to discuss this with my GP & feel that maybe I should wait for the results of these tests but I would really like to know what it all means.

Brainstem and spinal cord dysfunction from androgen deprivation
One day after the first surgery the pain actually got worse due to "hypoxia re-
perfusion
injury", and it never got better. It turns out that my hypogonadism (low testosterone syndrome) from ADT contributed to this in at least two ways.

Usage of Timolol is suitable for night time?
And as it has a side effect to lower blood pressure, it seems using this before sleeping may bring some risk to optic nerve (as low blood pressure with high IOP at night can lead to low
perfusion
pressure, which means insufficient blood flow to the optic nerve).

Chest pain when stressed
When I’ve been going through extreme stress and know there’s a lot more to come, it’s something that really brings on my chest pain ( waiting for stress mri
perfusion
results) but told I have coronary artery spasms and micro vascular angina, and the bottom of my heart isn’t pumping efficiently.

Questions for the RO for my upcoming video conference regarding options for early salvage treatment (and ADT) after Radical Prostatectomy?
Transitional zone: transitional zone T2 signal is heterogeneous with matched areas of restricted diffusion and focally increased
perfusion
that are not clearly suspicious on T2-weighted imaging and are consistent with changes from BPH.

Changed consultants?
It looks like I’ve got a cardiac consultant who specialises and special interest in stress
perfusion
, cardiomyopathy but doesn’t say spasms on his profile, wonder why I’ve changed, must be that he’s got more experience thank goodness, anything is an improvement on what I’ve had up to now.

Medication Induced Hypotension
My blood pressure tends to be erratic, and I am concerned about the resulting optic
perfusion
pressure when the BP dips -- particularly at night. Does anyone else have this problem?
