Aerobika
Morning all, I started using the aerobika twice a day in the last few months and thought I would let you know my experience. I use it for twenty minutes and it seems to compare to postural drainage for clearing mucus. However, I noticed about four weeks ago that I can drink far more water. This is unscientific

Clenil or Qvar
I have taken Clenil for years and years - basically since it was decided it was better for the environment and I’ve been trundling along very nicely with no problems at all. I was recently given Qvar - it was back at the start of lockdown, there seemed to be some sort of a delay then I was told the pharmacist

Asthma and smoking..anyone smoke??
Hi all hope your keeping well, I'm having trouble with stopping smoking and I feel like my asthma is constant but my peak flow and oxygen are fine. Is it possible that thinking about the asthma to much is making it worse? And does anyone here with asthma smoke?? How does it make your throat feel if so

Weird new allergies and non-allergic asthma
Anyone else have this issue? I have severe non-allergic, non-eosinophilic asthma, but also have hayfever - which is a bit weird but I have read up on it and it's possible; seems to be mainly trees. I have triggers including floral scents such as lavender, rose, violet etc but they just trigger asthma

Major thanks to all for advice given re peak flow and inhalers. Now taking a preventer I no longer need a reliever and increased peak flow from low 300's to now 500 in just 2 weeks.

Antihistamines
I posted a couple of weeks ago about a nightly cough, and varied peak flow of between 380 and 500 (best is 500). I finally got a GP who believed it wasn't covid and was prescribed fexofenadine and dymista (plus a saline nasal spray). I am also on Fostair 200/6, montelukast, and spireva as well. These

Hospital trips and covid
Hi Has anyone been to hospital with their normal astma symptoms? I ask as I have been three times. Each time I've been treated with the assumption I have covid. They wait for test to come back before moving me to a cold ward. Its made me very nervous about asking for help and only go when my wife

Question about asthma and mucus
Hi all hope your staying safe So I'm still struggling with stopping smoking and have had a phlegmy cough for ages now, and I'll cough up thick mucus. Does mucus form in airways?? As I have never been sure about this, I also need to loose weight as I'm around 35 pounds overweight but it's not easy to

Asthma or Covid-19?
Any advice last week I developed shortness of breath which lead me to Amu unit. All stats were normal, ECG was clear, chest x Ray clear, Doctor said I didn't have covid lung, bloods taken, all fine except raised d dimer (blood clot) of 538. Had ultrasound scan on left leg no clot found. Doctor said probably

I am new to this site, I do hope somebody can help me. 5 weeks ago, I had a total abdominal hysterectomy due to cysts showing on scans and a high result in a CA125 blood test which raised concerns . Is it really asthma?
Hi everyone, Here's another long post... I've been having a persistent cough and breathing difficulties for some time and my GP thinks it's asthma. I'm 31, non-smoker with no history of chest infections or other respiratory problems and no known allergies so I'm a bit puzzled as to how or why I'd develop

Doing a peakflow, causing tight throat
Hi all Just curious really does anyone get a tight throat after they have done their best of 3 on the peak flow? I don't always get it but more often than not I will. Was wondering if that's normal with asthma Regards
