Good peak flow and oxygen levels. Taking meds. My query is it normal to have what I call an aching kinda tender chest ? As a newy I really dont know what to expect. I've had great advice from you all. Appreciate your help and advice again. Thank you

Would be interested in this too - I have, and I'm newly diagnosed, it's just to the right of my sternum, (or just up and to the right slightly from where middle of bra sits?)

Soon after asthma diagnosis my daughter also had costacondritis. Very painful chest brought on by coughing hard for weeks prior to getting the asthma under control. Unfortunately takes weeks to settle and only paracetamol to help which hardly touched the pain.

Hi bertyboy

I'm new at this game too & I'm just starting to get more control (finally). I also experienced the 'aching' you describe and it's improved no end for me this week. I'm guessing it just takes a while for the inflammation to go down once the treatment starts working.
