Hi all

Just curious really does anyone get a tight throat after they have done their best of 3 on the peak flow? I don't always get it but more often than not I will. Was wondering if that's normal with asthma

Regards

Hi,

I found I got a tight chest/chest pain from using my peak flow meter.

I changed to just do 1 blow instead of 3 which helped, that may contradict normal practice but I found when I did 3 readings they were fairly close.

I think ultimately I was straining my chest by blowing as hard as I could.
