Recommended Vitamin D Level?
I could swear I saw an article or video by the famous Dr. Mark Scholz somewhere where he was recommending to his patients a target serum Vitamin D of at least 50 and more optimally an even higher level of 70. But I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know of any sources of information on target Vitamin

Hi everyone! I just stumbled across this website again and thought it may be a good place to seek advice from others who may have gone through similar events. So my story is a bit of an odd one. I’m 29 years old and I had always had heavier periods that were more on the painful side. But I was able

Vitamin D
I have just read a post that suggests vitamin D may increase palpitations in AF..My GP had suggested I take vitamin D to help with the aches and pains of Polymyalgia. Seems one drug to help hinders another. I don't want to aggravate my afib. Has anyone any facts/opinions on this?

My experience with CKD
I wrote this in a chat and then realized that maybe sharing my experience with everyone, might help someone. So here's my story. I too, have CKD 3A and I also was given the, "ok you have it, see you next time!", from my GP and even from the first nephrologist I went to. It didn't seem right to

Vitamin D supplements and elevated blood work
here is my story and my question. Everything has been going well for me for about a year. Blood work stable, tumor marker test levels decreasing and stable scans. However, recently I was diagnosed with very low levels of vitamin D and began supplementation with 50,000 IU once a week. Since I misunderstood

Thyroid and vitamin D
Can an over treated thyroid deplete vitamin D levels? I know vitamin D is needed for thyroid health and wellbeing but I wondered if it can be depleted this way or any other way. Thank you

A little too much T3?
Hi all Just got my latest results back from Medichecks, blood drawn at 9:15am (later than I would like, but 1st appt at local hospital, as I hate having to stab my fingers). I take 100mcg of T4 first thing and 12.5mcg of T3 twice a day (first thing and at bedtime). I was diagnosed with Hashis in 2014

Blood results help
I posted back in December with my lab work. At that time, the doctor prescribed me liothyronine. After talking with you all, I requested an increase in levothyroxin to 75mcg, which she agreed. I also started taking supplements. I am posting a picture of my labs from yesterday. The top image is that

Vitamin supplements
I currently take evening primrose capsules and vitamin D tablets together late afternoon (primrose includes vitamin E). Is it better to separate these or to take with food? They both have added incipients. Should I be looking for natural vitamins instead? Also, I have purchased some Liposomal vitamin
