Bluetooth Vs Pacemaker
I had a
pacemaker
fitted two years ago. I want to get some new ear bud/ headphones for learning digital piano and for listening to music while I exercise. So many "advice" sites contradict each other so I'm now totally confused.

I know have a
pacemaker
/ICD. My brain. I've been in and out of kidney failure. It is hard to get out of bed some days the pain is so bad. And I have no one to help. My husband is doing all he can. I just turned 34. Our plans for having a family have gone out the window.

TWO YEARS TODAY SINCE MY CARDIAC ARRESTS
After the 4th one I guess they said "well, that's enough of that" and they put in a temporary
pacemaker
. Two days later they put in a permanent
pacemaker
& ICD, I was in ICU for 3-4 days, then moved into a room with 3 other people. I got great care and did quite well.

Do you have a cardiac device? Haiku time!
I know lots of us around here have a cardiac device (
pacemaker
, ICD, CRT-D/P, LVAD, mechanical valves, loop recorders, etc...) and I would love it if some of you were up for sharing your thoughts about living with a device over on my Hearty Tales project blog.

Problems with pacemaker insertion
Had
pacemaker
fitted five weeks ago and readmitted later that day as ventricular lead had moved and caused pericardial effusion. So back to theatre and on both occasions found the experience horrendius to say the least.

Echo tomorrow
Nervous as last echo put me in hospital for 7 weeks and ended with the AVR op and Crtd
pacemaker
being fitted. Didn't have any symptoms despite EF being below 30. Just hoping EF is up and everything is OK. Anybody have similar experience?

AV Node ablation & CRT Pacemaker
My Cardiologist wants to ablate my AV node (the junction box in the heart), knock it out completely so only the heart muscle will work and insert a CRT
pacemaker
which I will be totally reliant on. This scares me!

Afib only in late afternoon
The doctor is now talking about the possibility of a
pacemaker
. Not sure how this would help with a fast heartbeat. Does anyone here have this problem or had this happen to help.
