15 Years of pramipexole
(I also had a bradycardia episode around that time requiring a
pacemaker
and thought it might have contributed but have found no evidence of that). I also take levothyroxine for hypothyroidism. Ferritin level is 44.

I would be interested to hear from others experienced with having a biventricular or other
pacemaker
fitted. I had one fitted last Friday. Half way through the operation I experienced an awful pain within my throat/neck. Was administered more painkiller.

Fluttering sensation in chest
Now it feels as if this fluttery feeling is by my
pacemaker
too. I have a very annoying cold that’s causing lots of pain in my ears but apart from that I feel fine . I have ectopic beats but this feels less if there’s a butterfly inside fluttering its wings .

I have Atrial Fibrilation and
pacemaker
fitted, and therefore I know that there is a higher risk of stroke, so I had tried statins, but found that bad s/e were making symptoms of my Fibromyalgia much worse and I stopped it.

Ticagrelor and diarrhea
I was put on 90mg of Ticagrelor then had to come off them 5 days before having my
pacemaker
fitted. After restarting these again my stomach has been so upset with pains, cramps and uncontrolled diarrhea now for over 2 weeks.

Husband's heart issues
Surgeon said in his situation 3-4% mortality plus possibility of stroke, bleeding, delirium ( common after by pass machine evidently) and possible
pacemaker
. Waiting list about 3 months AFTER chest CT and echo, his last was nearly 18 months ago(!) due to waiting time for angio.

Oxygen levels.
Doctors are considering a
pacemaker
but think it mat be my vagal nerve causing me the problems so I'm now having an exercise stress test next month before any decisions are made.

2 lead pacemaker to CRT PM
My cardiologist said he would change my 2 lead
pacemaker
to a CRT PM which I believe paces the r/h side atrium and ventricle (same as the two lead I currently have) but also paces the L/H ventricle maintaining synchronisation.

Thyroid and Cholesterol connection
I have a
pacemaker
for a low heart rate, A/F sensitive to cold, nervy jumpy legs and on/off brain fog. I know there is a relationship between high cholesterol and Thyroid problems and would feel happier if I could discuss this with GP and ask for more comprehensive tests.

Pacemaker fitted 10 days ago, when active again?
Hi I have had a
pacemaker
fitted unexpectedly for bradycardia and sinus pauses of up to 5 seconds. I was not really aware of an issue until identified during another unrelated medical intervention when low HR spotted.

Pain from costochondritis is more severe than normal
I have a
pacemaker
and have had pericarditis and a pericardial effusion back in 2020 so having heart problems and left sided chest pain can be tricky to ignore at times .

Pacemaker and skiing.
I’ve skied many times before but never since having my
pacemaker
for heart block fitted. My main concern is going through the lift pass gates onto the lift, has anyone in a similar position had any experience with this and if so was it ok, did they have any effects on their
pacemaker
?

Finally I can have a ablation
He is doing it because I’m young (53) but made me aware I may need a
pacemaker
. He also said there’s only a 30% chance it will work ! I am trying to be positive but also thought would be higher. Had 3 failed cvs, longest lasted a week.
