Hi, I have another appointment at the pacing clinic next week since I had my pacemaker installed just over 12 month ago for AV node and accessory pathway ablation, other than the technician checking the setting of the pacemakers do pacemakers have the ability to record abnormal events?
Also recently been prescribed bisoporol again, will the pacemaker settings need to be tweaked to take into account a decrease in HR?

Yes, your pacemaker records abnormal events and you will have a ECG as they take the readings. If you ask the physiologists thy will sometimes tell you if you have any AF events and say something like you have been in AF for 30% of the time or what were you doing on …..date&time….. something like that.
Your pacemaker will maintain your heart rate whatever drugs you are on but it really depends upon what sort of pacemaker and whether or not you are pacemaker dependent. Mine is set to a lower limit of 60 so as soon as my heart rate dips to 59 it kicks in.
