breathing trouble
I’ve been RA positive for a few years now. I also have hypothyroidism. I’ve been having serious trouble breathing predating my RA diagnosis. I’ve been to pulmonologist, cardiologist, ENT , and a Gastroenterologist and emergency room. No one seems to know what’s going on. I have some evidence of reflux

Does Fostair Makes You More Sensitive to Allergens?
Hi guys, I was diagnosed with exercise-induced asthma triggered by allergy around 6 months ago. My doctor gave me Fostair + Montelukast to manage it. But since i started taking these my symptoms increased 10 fold. What use to be occasional chest tightness during my routine running + unable to run

Echo results.
Hi I have afib, not usually too often but have had a few episodes this year. On all the usual meds. Have just been given an inhaler as hyperinflated patches were found on my lungs in a chest x ray. Anyway had the results of my latest echocardiogram yesterday and was wondering if you good people can interpret

Nasal Polyps from asthma
I'm wondering if anyone else who has asthma also suffers from nasal polyps. I'm on a corticosteroid inhaler for my asthma and corticosteroid nose spray for my nasal polyps, they seem worse in the winter, sometimes completely blocking my nasal passages. If anyone else suffers from these have you found

Vaping
I vaped for about 10 years but after my heart attack I am really struggling with stopping. It's more the habitual part than anything else. The doc put me on a nicotine inhaler. I wondered if I vape with zero nicotine is that an option. It's not really the nicotine I crave, more just the habit. Any thoughts

Inhaler Operation
My hands are quite small and my grip is not so good these days. I sometimes find it quite difficult to squeeze my aerosol inhaler sufficiently firmly. Does anyone know if there is a gadget to help with this please?

SMART
I'm on the symbicort smart system. When I was put on this, I asked the nurse if I should use it before exercise too (as she told me I no longer need a blue reliever) and she said yes. The GP has recently done a medication review (desktop, not with me) and I see he's left my blue on there. When I've

Does my dad need a blue inhaler?
Hi, just looking for a bit of info I am a bit concerned about my dad he is in his 70’s and a bit complacent when it comes to health. He has asthma (though he is not sure if it’s asthma or chronic bronchitis) was diagnosed in his 40’s. I remember he used to have a brown inhaler and a blue one, but

I do not know what to do.
My asthma has been uncontrolled for a year now. Since the beginning of this year, I have had five courses of steroid tablets and five courses of antibiotics. Every day I need ventolin 3-4 times. My asthma nurse doesn't prescribe anything new to me, and the specialist didn't change anything either.

Oral thrush
Hello!:) I need some advice for this. I'm using Fostair, I really think it's from that inhaler. I have some white and red spots on my throat, nothing on my tongue yet. I have a few questions because this never happened before. Is oral thrush contagious? I'm afraid because I don't want to give it to

Cervical ulcers and joint pain- any advice?
Hello, I am currently undiagnosed with Behcets disease and under the care of the Liverpool CoE. I have my next appointment on 3rd July, so not too much longer to wait and see if I have any answers! In the mean time, I was just wondering if many of you suffer with cervical ulcers as part of your symptoms

Sodium cromoglycate inhaler (Intal)
Can anyone share their experience getting Intal inhaler since it has been delisted in the UK? Or, do you now take it via a nebulizer instead? If yes, can you share the name of the nebulizer device and the manufacturer of the cromolyn/chromoglycate solution? Pubmed indicates it's less effective than
