Good afternoon lovely ladies I hope you are all doing well. I have just returned from an appointment with my oncologist to discuss my PET scan results. There is no sign of disease. I feel so incredibly lucky. She told me it is rare for people diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer to have such a good

Back from London, tired, but hopeful
Dear All, When to the London Clinic yesterday, saw RK, what a difference from the last consultation in London. She started off with the fact that there are still lots of possibilities and treatments out there, which lifted my spirits immediately. Very briefly, she wants me to first do molecular testing

Unbearably itchy arm from PICC. PICC taken out. Getting a Port put in. One more carbo/taxol then Avastin for 1y. Good choice to get port?
Hi ladies. I’ve had a bit of trouble getting cannulated for my treatments. First treatment took 5 attempts to cannulate. Other infusions only took one go but I was advised to get a PICC due to my small veins. I only had the PICC in for four days before I had to get it taken out again, it was unbearably

Avastin mandated as first drug to try by my insurance-caused silicone floater
I HAVE to try Avastin first due to my insurance mandating a "proven fail"...for each eye. I have to try 3 injections. The first one for my right eye gave my a permanent silicone floater the shape of a comet directly in my line of sight. I am beside myself and furious when I was told it was permanent

Excruciating pain immediately after eylea injections - no betadyne
Nearly a year of Avastin injections and two years of Eylea injections, no betadyne being used the last two years because I could not tolerate. Now (the last 4 inections) I have excruciating eye pain after the injection and last time a few minutes of no vision at all in the eye. I take Tylenol immediately

Hi guys. We are 5 days post chemotherapy treatment. (Carboplatin and Taxol combo) Ryan is doing fairly well. He has some achy joints and muscles. Unfortunately so much so that he has been taking a low dose pain med. tolerable once it kicks in and he can carry on life as normal. He feels fine otherwise

Scared
Hello special people. I'm scared. My OC returned despite being on maintenance Avastin after major debulking surgery and total hysterectomy. It's in my stomach lymph nodes, on my bowel, liver, peritoneum and omental area. I was told I might have another five years if the carbo and Caelyx work enough,

Trying to cope.
Sooooo tired as of late. And decidedly disappointed with my stupid body and it's stupid reactions to the avastin. It's been over a year since I've been on it and I am always, always tired. Bone tired. If I engage in too much activity- and by that I mean, if I wash some dishes AND vacuum, I feel like

I have seen various bodies, had a Pudendal nerve block, taken Gaberpenten, Amitriptyiline, am on HRT, am using Vagifem and
Ovestin
cream. I also have Lichen Planus on my vaginal lips, but the Trimovate is making no difference.

Help needed please. First recurrence. I'm so scared.
Dear friends. I was diagnosed with OC stage 3c in February 2018 and finished first line chemo in September 2018. Avastin continued until May of this year. I had a CT scan this week as ca125 up to 71 and saw oncologist yesterday. She said I have some fluid around one lung and a bit of fluid in the peritoneum
