PHOSPHATIDYL SERINE
Im always cautious about things that reduce weight gain, promote weight loss etc (Im on T3 and I still cant lose the weight along with intermittent fasting 2 times a week and taking
Orlistat
). Most of my weight seems to be around my middle which is a cortisol issue.

9lb Down!!
So after 1 month on
Orlistat
i have lost 9lb (apparantly thats 4 blocks of butter, wish I could see that off my thighs!). Im really pleased, but now I have to have the motivation to keep going and not celebrate with food like I usually would. (BTW, I started on 15.8, so now down to 14.13).

Any advice about Orlistat?
Hello, I have just been prescribed
orlistat
by my GP as I weigh 16st 7lb and have a BMI of 39. I suffer from juvenille rheumatoid arthitis and require ankle replacements so cannot exercise much at the moment but need to reduce my weight before they will carry out the replacements.

Weight Management Service referral and Orlistat.
I am keeping an
Orlistat
blog to record my time on the medication and record what I have eaten each day. If you would like to read it I will give the link at the bottom. http://melsorlistatdiary13.blogspot.co.uk/

Let this be the positive start I need....
I've been prescribed
Orlistat
(pills to stop your body absorbing 1/3 of the fat you eat), I've lost 7lb in my first month. Sounds good I know, but I was naughty a few days (probably close to 10 days) which hindered my weight loss.

Why do I have to be weighed ?
I phoned my GP this morning to ask for a repeat prescription for all my meds :- Sertralin, levothyroxine temazepam,
orlistat
, fentanyl, oramorph. Only to be told by a snotty receptionist that I could not have it until I had been weighed.

Healthy eating ......
Well over a year really, doctor prescribed me
orlistat
. Twice never really got around to taking it properly. I dont eat enough fat to use it right now. So I thought I would try what I think is the healthy way. I made all the White to whole meal changes.

Calorie counting.
I have been prescribed
orlistat
by my doctor a couple weeks ago and I have been taking everyday since. Basically I was 14st 5lbs when I started and when I weigh myself today I have lost 9lb in weight. Now I have cut out all fats and sugars and I try to limit myself with a 1800 intake.

Test results, comments please
I was given
Orlistat
to help lose weight but they have made no difference as I eat a low fat Mediterranean diet. The GP also ignored my low basal temp (never above 36C). Below are the results done by an Italian private hospital lab last month.
