Tim's Run on the Franco-Swiss border
Even though parkruns are still suspended in France š” a group of us meet every Sat. at 09:00 for a (non)parkrun on the same course come rain, sun or snow ! I started running at 65 and very grateful for these HU forums and the great advice and support from Tim. A hundred parkruns later, I'm still running

thinking of switching from Ibrance to Kisqali (Ribociclib). Any thoughts for those with lobular?
I was diagnosed with MBC both lobular and ductal with Mets to bones in spine, ribs, pelvis, neck and skull this past June. Iāve been on Ibrance for 3 months and first scan and numbers are going in the right direction. My Onc originally gave me the choice between Ibrance and Kisqali. At the time we

Petscan Question
Iām currently in treatment for my first recurrence. I finished 4 cycles of Carbo and Doxil and just had a petscan to see how chemo is working. My CA125 is continually going down each month as well. My scan shows an increase in my mass by 1 cm but my SUV uptake has decreased. I was told that a mass

QoL - a great gig last night!
As there have been a few posts recently about quality of life, I thought I'd put one out there about my main current avenue of enjoyment - playing bass guitar in a club band. We had a cracking gig last night with a packed dance floor all evening. A highlight for me as the bassist was our new song; a

update on stage 4
so my dad did decide to do the chemo. He just finished the 3rd round. Psa started at 26.94 Went to 22.25 after first Went to 13.65 after two they took the last reading (13.65) the same day he finished his 3rd chemo. So unsure what the results will be after the 3rd round. Is that level in decline

Doxetaxel chemotherapy cycle 3, Managing well for time being, but a question ā
So chemo 3, white blood cells low....Oncologist was considering delay.....1.4 white blood cell count. Question 1, anything I can do to help replace white blood cells??? Question 2, PSA rose 0.07 to 0.09 which is first time I've seen a raise in value??? I'd expect chemo to kill, and negate PSA rise?

PSA hovering around 1 even after a year on ADT + Enza, should we insist on Triplet Therapy ?
Hi All, My Father was diagnosed with Advanced PCa with extensive bone mets but no visceral spread last November. His PSA at dx was 325 and Gleason was 4+5 with all cores positive. His treatment started off with 10 sessions of Palliative RT followed by combination of Degarelix + Enzaluatmide + Denosumab

The power of love
My first post! I was first diagnosed last year February with stage 3B. Not fun. But after 30 radiation treatments and 8 chemo sessions it had shrunk to the point where the docs were satisfied that it was probably dead and we could proceed into an "scan, wait and see " mode. I tolerated chemo and

Heās home! Hurrah!
After 7 weeks in hospital my husband is home. Initially they were treating him for an infection and no antibiotics were touching it. It was only when they got the bone marrow culture showing Hodgkins transformation that he turned a corner. The ABVD chemo was a game changer. He had two chemos in hospital
