Changing to another Biologic
Hi All, Does anyone know when changing to another weekly Biologic injection, would one need to stop the current biologic and wait for a week or two to start a new Biologic? Eg: Enbrel has stopped working after over 8 years, had to add Methotrexate to try and kick start it, but not great results, therefore

Anyone else in denial?
Does anyone else feel like they were diagnosed too hastily or that it cannot be real? The weird thing is that I e been symptomatic for 20 years but never put all the pieces together. I met with the rheumy. After one appointment and blood tests I got a diagnosis. It just seemed too easy. Idk maybe it

Rheumatologist wants mum to start Baricitinib.
My mum’s RA was very well controlled on Enbrel but things started to deteriorate after she was switched to Benepali. I understand that Baricitinib is an oral medication but my mum was also given a choice of another injection. Really don’t know which to choose. Is there a problem with choosing a tablet

Pred Tablets or Depo Injection?
I have had uncontrolled RA for nearly 3 years since switching to a biosimilar of enbrel. I've tried 2 rounds of rituximab and have really only been managing through a series of steroid treatments. I'm currently managing on 5mg daily and have been for 8 weeks. I'm due to start tocilizumab shortly but

Flu Jab?
I made enquiries through Ask My GP about my flu jab as I had not heard. Was told, although I had been having the jab since 2006, since 2018/19 I was not entitled to it, and I must have got through the net, regardless of having a low immune system, taking enbrel and having RA. My meds etc. have not

Found this info while doing some research..Etanercept
I came across this treatment for several auto-immune inflammatory issues and it says it may be helpful for other similar ailments. Has anyone had any experience with this or heard of anything pro or con? Etanercept, sold under the brand name Enbrel among others, is a biopharmaceutical that treats autoimmune

How can we be sure that benepali is working?
Hi all, I’m writing on behalf of my mum who was diagnosed about 25 years ago. She failed methotrexate therapy so started enbrel and she was doing really, really well until she was switched to benepali 4 years ago. Since then she has suffered from constant fatigue and joint aches and her fingers are

Hyrimoz biosimilar
Has anyone been on this Adalimumab biosimilar? After some research I'm now aware that it's not an "identical" copy of Humira (the branded original biologic). But all biosimilars are different drugs which are meant to work in the 'same way' to the original drug. So they are manufactured in a similar way

What a difference a phone call makes !!!
Well where do I start lol. I am in the clinically extremely vulnerable category for Covid 19 so as a result I’ve been shielding and so far so good 🤞it’s not been easy especially as my dad had a fall and as a result was diagnosed with terminal cancer that was in mid March, he died in May. Obviously I

Psoriatic Arthritis: What Immunosuppressants Help to Control Both Psoriasis and Arthritis? I'm New Here. :-)
I was prescribed Humira for Psoriasis by my dermatologist and it worked for a while and then seemed to stop. Derm recommended more topical Triamcinolone and wait out the flare. My rheumatologist did blood work that showed I had developed an immunity to Humira and prescribed Enbrel for Psoriatic Arthritis

Injecting Benepail
Hi everyone! I was on Enbrel for many years and now I've been switched to Benepali pre-filled pen for about a year now. I've been able to reduce the sting by leaving it out of the fridge for longer and using ice! My only issue is I can still only bring myself to inject my thighs and I worry that I keep

NHS letter
Hi Has any one else just on Enbrel and still received the letter telling you that you are extremely vulnerable and to stay at home. I really didn’t think I would be receiving this letter? Is it because of the disease alone or because of the drug we take? I put name forward a few weeks ago to be a nhs
