supplements and zoledronic acid
I have been talking to a nurse at the royal osteoporosis society regarding supplements before I have my zoledronic acid infusion, and she said don't take anything with retinol or zinc in it,anyone heard of that.

Change in hair texture/appearance while on Ibrance/Faslodex
I am on Ibrance/Faslodex since early June. Before that I had 1 1/2 cycles of Kiskali but had a severe adverse reaction and had to stop. My hair started thinning on Kiskali, it is now shedding big time and I have lost about 50% of my hair. and the texture and appearance of my remaining hair has changed

Omega 3 fatty acids
I have extremely dry skin and wondering if I should take
omega
3
fatty
acids
. I cannot eat sardines or tuna as have reactions to tinned fish. I probably do not get any omega 3. Cannot eat nuts either. Which are best supplements to take and good absorption?

bisphosphonates and dizziness
I started taking alendronate (70mg once a week) about 10 weeks ago. I was very dubious about it but did lots of research and ultimately decided to give it a go having read accounts from people who are housebound/ in constant pain due to their osteoporosis. Initially I seemed to be tolerating it well.

Do I need to take Alendronate?
Hi everyone, I Got the results of my DEXA bone scan, and I'm not sure if I need to be on Alendronate. (My rheumy prescribed it to me before these results came in, just saying "since you're going to be on steroids long term you need it.") Can someone tell me if the numbers below warrant me being on

18 months along
I started on Prednisone November 11 2021. The diagnosis was probable GCA. I remember writing a post on here detailing how crazy/busy my life. 101 things on the go at the same time. I received lots of replies about needing to slow down etc. At the time I had no idea just how much I would need to slow

Rheuma wants me on alendronate?! What are your t-scores?
So, I saw my new Rheuma for the 2ed time. I was prepared to explain how affull I felt (flair), and why I needed to go back on 10 mg, but I could have saved my breath. He could tell from the way I rose from the chair and walked towards him! "You are not so flying anymore?" he said. So we agreed to go
