What now? Help for Taxman, please!
I read something about a PARP inhibitor- particularly
OLAPARIB
. Does anyone know anything more I can do w/o chemo and going to a facility until this mess is over. I live in NY and am currently "stuck" in Florida because of the virus. Can someone please help. Any suggestions?

Hi there, I’ve been on
Olaparib
for three weeks now and so far have only experienced mild nausea. However, I do have a very watery mouth some days which is quite unpleasant. Does anyone else have this side effect and is there anything that helps alleviate it? Denise

Olaparib-capsules or tablets
I have just started on
olaparib
- 16 capsules a day which amounts to 800mg. I was just wondering if those who have been prescribed this are on tablets or capsules and if so why the difference. It is hard to swallow that amount daily. Rosie

Darolutamide vs Proxalutamide - for a Hail Mary??
After that, went to
Olaparib
(Lynparza) took care of liver mets but not PSA, so added Zytiga, and that worked very well for over 1-1/2 years - until last summer. MO took him off the Lynparza, and switched the steroid from prednisone to dexamethasone to get more time on Zytiga..

Travel Insurance for metastatic cancer
Hi everyone, My dad is doing well at the beginning of his treatment (on a Zytiga and a double-blind trail of
olaparib
). His PSA numbers dropped quick and he is feeling great. He wants to go on vacation but won't go without travel insurance.

Met in c5 c6 :-(
Now on
Olaparib
off Xtandi ...psa rose to 4.8. But, met in C5 C6 area is really painful. Pain in my neck, left shoulder, arm and fingers are tingly. Very limited motion now in my left arm. CT scan showed narrowing ... thanks to my wonderful PCa onologist, I got into a neurosurgeon right away.

OLAPARIB
Doctor suggested to use
OLAPARIB
as gene test came positive. Anyone here used it or using it ? How effective is it ? We are from India. It's very costly here. Anyone know the way to get it in less price ?

PAOLA and PRIMA trials - your experiences
Your comments would be used to inform two NICE submissions, one about making
olaparib
plus bevacizumab available first line (which was studied on the PAOLA trial) and one about making niraparib available first line (which was studied on the PRIMA trial).

Pembro and Olaparib clinical trial
Consult at Johns Hopkins offered Pembro and
Olaparib
combo clinical trial . I did not have BRCA1/2 or ATM gene mutations and not sure of efficacy of this trial for me. Have read of adverse effects of those on trial. Weighing pros/cons.

Antitumor Activity Seen With Keytruda in mCRPC
inhibitor-based combination regimens have shown activity in mCRPC, including the CheckMate 650 trial of nivolumab (Opdivo) plus the CTLA-4 checkpoint inhibitor ipilimumab (Yervoy) and KEYNOTE-365, which showed promising antitumor activity and well-tolerated TRAEs when pembrolizumab was combined with

Update after oncology visit
MO offered us a trial of
olaparib
in combination with AZD6738 . Husband did not have braca or any other gene mutations show up on DNA testing so I asked why we would go on this. He said "if it works, it will help bone mets" .
